Getting Ready for Valentine’s Day

Are you getting ready for Valentine’s Day yet?  It is just over a month away and I can help you make some fun treats!!
First I wanted to share these fun cards that participants of my 12 Days of Christmas Gifts got to make.  Day 9 had pieces from the What a Year Memories & More Card Pack and pre-cut and scored cardstock to make these 3 cards so they had a head start for Valentine’s Day

Back in December, I shared some of the projects from Santa’s Workshop.  Well, now it’s time for Cupid to make an appearance.  At Cupid’s Valentine Workshop, we’ll spend half a day together making 4 fabulous treat holders (treats are included) and 3 fun cards.  Cupid is bringing in a light lunch for everyone and of course there will be some little treats and surprises too.  If you can’t make it in person, that’s ok, Cupid has a helper who can put your kit in the mail so you can complete the projects at home.

Hand Made Cards

New Year = New Calendar

A New Year = New Calendar, right! Monday started the 2024 count down, so I have a fun 12 Days of Christmas project to share with you.  Participants received a bag that was filled with all the pieces to assemble this easel that holds a 3″ x 3″ Sticky Note Pad and has mini tear off calendar on the front.  I know these days everyone uses their phone or an online calendar but I still like to have a quick visual calendar right in my workspace.  I keep this adorable project right beside my laptop so it is handy as I’m planning for future classes.  It is quick to assemble and you are ready to display in just a short time.

Here’s the side view where you get a better view of the note pad holder on the front.  There’s even room to put a small pen or pencil.

This project doesn’t use a ton of supplies so it’s great for a quick gift.  The year just began so there’s still plenty of time to make a couple for surprises.

Measurements:
Pretty Peacock – 4 1/4″ x 11” – score at 5 1/2″; 3” x 4 1/4″; 1” x 3”; 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ – with 5 1/2” edge at top – score at 2 1/2″ & 3” – TURN — with
4 1/4″ edge at top – score at 1/2″ & 3 3/4″
Basic White – 4” x 5 1/4″; 2” x 2”
Glorious Gingham Designer Paper – Pretty Peacock – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
