Latte Love Locking Birthday

I love this Latte Love Locking Birthday Card. It is so fun and different. The card features the Latte Love Bundle, A Little Latte Designer Paper and the beautiful Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots.

The adorable coffee mug is stamped with Memento on Basic White, then stamp the coffee foam inside the mug with Pecan Pie ink stamped off once. I colored the rim with Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend, then around the coffee foam with Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends. The mug is die cut and attached to circles, which slide to the left to “unlock” the card.

The right panel now opens to reveal the slider opening.

Then open the left panel to show the inside coffee mugs with a simple greeting and another slot that you can stick a gift card into.
How fun is that — it’s a gift and card in one!!

Darling Details Clutch Card Set

Last night’s FB Live was fun as we are preparing for Spring and Mother’s Day featuring the Darling Details Clutch Card Set. I saw this lovely clutch made from a 12″ x 12″ designer paper from various sites and knew I had to give it a try with the Countryside Inn Designer Paper. It is such a beautiful gift for anyone but especially perfect for Mother’s Day!!

The clutch card holder will easily hold 4 cards with a mini velcro dots holding it closed

When the clutch is opened, two cards fit into each side pocket.

Latte Love Framed Art

I shared a little sneak peek Saturday but today I’m showing you my Latte Love Framed Art. The Latte Love Suite is one of my favorites in the Spring Mini Catalog. The color combination is so striking and blends together so well.

I used a 12″ x 12″ Basic White cardstock for the background with layers of Early Espresso and Pecan Pie. Then I started working with the A Little Latte Designer Paper for added fun. Some coffee cups are die cut using the Latte Love Dies and others are fussy cut from the designer paper, which is a definite must have. I used the Alphabet A La Mode dies with Adhesive Sheets turning “COFFEE” into stickers for easy placement.

This was one of the projects from last month’s Coffee, Cocoa and Cards Class — yes, sometimes we do more than cards. It was definitely a hit with class participants. I do have a tutorial available for $10 if you would like to make one for yourself — just send me a message — leave a comment.
