Christmas in July with A Little Cheer

July is coming to an end so here’s a Christmas in July with A Little Cheer project. This week’s Facebook LIVE features an adorable Christmas card with a coordinating nugget slider box.

A Little Cheer Bundle, A Little Cheer Stamp Set, A Little Cheer Punches, Regals 6" x 6" Designer Paper, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Christmas in July, Hershey Nugget Slides Box, Stamp with Peggy

I stamped 4 tree images with Old Olive ink and 4 stocked images with Real Red ink, punched them out and added to a Stylish Shapes Basic White circle. The greeting is stamped with Memento ink on a Stylish Shapes Die circle, then attached to a Spotlight on Nature circle of Real Red. Lots of fun circle layers.

Here’s a different designer paper print and the card is turned vertical.
It looks so different, doesn’t it.

Charming Day Framed Art

Our final project from Summer Splash is this beautiful Charming Day Framed Art. It features the Charming Day Bundle – stamp set and dies plus the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and Everyday Arches Dies.

We all say we don’t need more flower stamp sets but oh my gosh, this Charming Day Bundle is awesome. I absolutely love it!!

I started with a base of Thick Basic White that is 5″ x 7″, next is a piece of Thick Basic White that is 4 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ that I die cut the center using the Everyday Arches Die. The arch frame is embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and attached with Adhesive Foam Strips. I stamped the greeting with Memento ink on the arch cut out, then adhered it flat into the opening. Then stamp one large and one small flower — color with Stampin’ Blends. I die cut leaves from Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green and attached everything to the raised frame.

I love how this Charming Day Framed Art project turned out.

If you enjoyed my Summer Splash projects I hope you’ll consider joining me for Fall Fest in October. All the details coming soon!!

Sunflower Cards Gift Set

Today is the third project set from Summer Splash. It’s a gorgeous Sunflower Cards Gift Set featuring the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and Crushed Curry Two Tone Cardstock. We made four fabulous cards using lots of different techniques and put them all into a quick card box. This is perfect for gift giving.

Card #1

This card uses the fun Reverse Blackout technique.
We embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, then used the debossed side to lightly swipe Early Espresso ink over the whole piece. This covers the high spots with ink but leaves the lower spots cleaner. Then we used Sponge Daubers with stamp pads to add Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie to the flowers. This was definitely a favorite for the group.

Card #2

The new Two Tone Cardstock was used for our second card. This cardstock is so much fun to work with, so many different techniques. We embossed the top portion, then used a sanding block to expose the white center core of the cardstock. I love how the sunflowers pop with this technique.

Card #3

This card starts with an embossed background, then a piece of Very Vanilla is embossed and the raised side is colored with Sponge Daubers.

Card #4

We embossed Very Vanilla, colored with Sponger Daubers, then fussy cut the flower out to add to the front of the card. The Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder was used for the background.

After the cards were finished, we had to make a quick box to tuck the cards into. Crushed Curry Two Tone Cardstock was embossed and sanded again, like Card #2.
