So Very Merry Gift Card Holder

It’s hot here in Northern Illinois so I thought we would cool down a little with this So Very Merry Gift Card Holder.
The So Very Merry Stamp Set is great for Stained Glass Technique and is so fun to make.

I started with Real Red card base and layers of Old Olive paired with the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper.

Santa was stamped with VersaMark ink, heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder and colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Lift the Santa flap and sneak a peek at the gift card.

When you pull the front flap down you see the pocket where the gift card fits.
A Basic White mat leaves a space for you to write your message.

This card layout can be used for birthday card, shower or wedding cards — just about any occasion that you are
giving a gift card.  It’s a great gift and card all in one.

Check out the video below for tips and tricks to make your own fun fold gift card holder!!

Fun with Designer Paper

Today’s card is a little Fun with Designer Paper.
A card can be so simple to make when the Designer Paper does all the work.

This card uses the Les Shoppes Designer Paper.  One side of the paper has store fronts and the other side has
wonderful prints that work so well on cards for all occasions.

The top half of the card front have been cut off so the Basic White inside shows as the front of the card,
then pieces of Designer Paper were added to the Basic White layer and adhered inside the card base.
Then a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock was embossed with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder (it doesn’t show well in the picture though),
A piece of Misty Moonlight 3/8″ Inner Braid Ribbon is wrapped across the front of the embossed layer and adhered to the front of the card and the greeting is attached over the ribbon with Dimensionals.

The card front opens to show the white space to write your message.

Summer Fun with Zoo Crew

My August Scrapbook Club had some Summer Fun with Zoo Crew!!
I used the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper to add the Crushed Curry polka triangles in the corners.
They remind me of the summer sun.  Then I fussy cut some of the adorable animals from the Zoo Crew Designer Paper
to my pages.  These little animals are ready for all your summer pictures — camping, hiking, photography, bird watching
or just sitting around a campfire enjoying time spent with family and friends.

The pages are Basic White with Basic Black mats and then another layer of Basic White to add your pictdures.
This color scheme will go with all of your summer fun pictures.

The second page has even more of the fun little critters.
Don’t you love the little guy trying to catch butterflies – so cute!!
