Time for a Celebration

Today’s card says It’s Time for a Celebration!!
This celebration could be birthday or even 4th of July.

Azure Afternoon cardstock gave me a bright and cheery base for my card.
I added a layer of Silver Metallic Specialty Paper under a layer of Azure Afternoon
and added a layer of the fun Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Paper over Azure Afternoon.
The Gold Celebrations Paper has one side that is gold and when you turn it over you have silver confetti.

Measurements:

Azure Afternoon — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″ – emboss with Basics 3D Embossing Folder; 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
Silver Metallic Paper — 3″ x 5 1/2″; 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper — 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″

4th of July Brownie Box

Today I have a fun 4th of July brownie box to share with you.
This fun, quick & easy box is perfect for the upcoming holiday weekend.

I used Real Red cardstock for the box and Azure Afternoon, a new color, for the belly band and mat layer.
My box used 3 stamp set and two sets of dies (Biggest Wish, Beautiful Balloons and Alphabest Stamp Sets
and Beautiful Balloons and Alphabet a la Mode Dies.

Here is the template so you make whip up a few just in time for your 4th of July gatherings.
Be sure to check out the video below for tip and tricks on assembling the box.

measurements:

Real Red — 6″ x 6 1/2″ — with 6 1/2″ edge at top – score at 1″, 3″, 4″, 6″
turn – with 6″ edge at top — score at 1″ & 5″
1 5/8″ x 3 5/8″; 2″ x 2″
Azure Afternoon — 1″ x 11″; 1 7/8″ x 3 7/8″; 1″ x 2″
Basic White — 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″; 1″ x 1″

June Father’s Day Scrapbook Pages

Today I’m sharing my fun June Father’s Day Scrapbook Pages!!
I started with the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Paper but didn’t want the fish or lures, so I decided to
go with the papers that looked like water and denim jeans — both are perfect for those fabulous
Father’s Day pictures you took. My page layouts are cased from pages my sister, Tina, designed for
her Cruise & Crop Retreat in February. I thought this layout would be great for Father’s Day with a
few small adjustments to work with this paper and the wonderful new Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.

These June Father’s Day Scrapbook Pages are perfect for pictures I took of my son and his kids
and my daughter’s youngest son fishing with their dad, grandpa and great grandpa.
It was a fabulous weekend that I hope the grandkids remember and can look at the pages
when they get older and have fond memories of this weekend.
