Les Shoppes Clothes Gift Card Holder

I am loving the Les Shoppes Designer Paper especially for this
Les Shoppes Clothes Gift Card Holder.  It is SO fun!!

I fussy cut the store front and planter from the designer paper, then attached to a belly band to
keep the card closed.  There is a piece of Boho Blue cardstock between the store front – the belly band
goes between the store front and stability piece.  The Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder added texture
under the store front.

When you slide the belly band off the store front section opens to the right exposing the
gift card holder section.  Then open the left panel to show the Basic White for your greeting.

More Fun with Les Shoppes DSP

Today we’re having More Fun with Les Shoppes DSP (Designer Series Paper).
I have truly come to enjoy working with this paper because there are so many things you can
make with the paper.  The front panel is embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  I love the way this looks behind the building.  A piece of Vellum Basics Cardstock is added to a layer of Calypso Coral to give a softer look to the Calypso Coral layer.  Next the building is fussy cut from the designer paper and added to card front with Dimensionals.  I love the stamped and colored table and chairs added beside the building.  For the final touch I added Ombre Matte Dots to the outer corners.

Les Shoppes Book Gift Card Holder

Today I have a fun Les Shoppes Book Gift Card Holder to share with you.
I have fallen in love with the Les Shoppes Designer Paper.
The designer paper does all the work, there is no stamping on this card.

I fussy cut the bookstore and top half only of a building from the designer paper.  I knew the apartment building piece would work above the bookstore.  The best part was the apartment building wasn’t a whole building, it was a scrap piece that was put to very good use.  It worked perfect for this card because I needed the height for a vertical card.  The buildings were addedto a Basic White mat layer that is embossed with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder for a fun background.

The ribbon unties and opens to reveal the card gift pocket and I added a Basic White mat for your message.
I’ll be putting a local bookstore or Barnes & Noble gift card inside my card for a lovely birthday gift.
There are so many possibilities with this paper — fussy cutting the buildings reminded me of playing
with paper dolls as a little girl.  The cuts are very easy and not time consuming.  Keep watching my
posts this week — I have a few other fun Les Shoppes Designer Paper cards to share with you.
