May/Mother’s Day Scrapbook Layout

As I’m prepping for June’s Scrapbook Club, I realized I hadn’t shared the May/Mother’s Day Scrapbook Layout
using Countryside Inn DSP.  These pages don’t specifically say Mother’s Day but they are filled with lots of flowers and just have a soft feeling to it that says mom to me.

I used the Darling Details Dies to die cut the flower outline from Basic White cardstock.
Then I used Stampin’ Blends (Boho Blue, Lemon Lime Twist and Lemon Lolly) to color
the outlines before I adhered them to the page.
Both pages have the same layout which gives me lots of space to add pictures.

June Card Sketch Challenge

During last night’s FB Live, I shared my June Card Sketch Challenge.
My sample card used the Coffee with Friends Stamp Set and Earthen Elegance Designer Paper.

Here is the template with measurements for creating June’s Card Sketch.

The Earthen Elegance Designer Paper reminds me of coffee beans and the foam topping on a cappuccino
or marshmallow on hot cocoa — that’s why I decided to use the Coffee with Friends Stamp Set.
My sister, Tina Rappe, did the coffee & croissant circle on a card for a Demo Event we hosted last month.
I loved the way it looked so I added it to my designer paper coffee theme.  The Opaque Ovals give a
look of coffee beans at the bottom of the card.  The Very Vanilla layer is embossed with the
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to look like a stucco wall in a coffee shop.

A simple greeting is added inside the card.

During my FB Live, Helen mentioned the Wavy Trim looked like coffee beans — perfect!!!
I grabbed a Deeb Natural Tones Stampin’ Blend to make the trim ovals a little darker and they
do look like coffee beans — so cute.

Here is the video for tips on making my card.
