Stamps Ink & Paper with Cheerful Daisies

Every know and then I like making a simple & basic card.
I have one for you today — Stamps Ink & Paper with Cheerful Daisies.
That’s right, just four pieces of cardstock (Thick Basic White, Smoky Slate, Berry Burst and Basic White)
and three stamp pads (Smoky Slate, Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green) were used for this card.
There were no dies or punches used.  This is a great card for anyone to make but it is especially
great for new stampers — you don’t need a lot of supplies.

measurements:

Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Smoky Slate — 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″
Berry Burst — 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
Basic White — 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″

I started by stamping the greeting with Smoky Slate ink.
Next, stamp the daisies with Berry Burst stamp pad — stamp 3 daisies full strength.
Use Granny Apple Green stamp pad for leaves around the flowers — I stamped one leaf full strength,
then a second leaf that is stamped off.
Lastly, fill in white space by stamping daisies with stamped off Berry Burst ink.

I have a great fun fold card to share with you today — Impossible Fold with Zany Zoo.
Lemon Lime Twist with Basic Black and Glorious Gingham Designer Paper.

The card folds flat to fit in the envelope, then when it is removed, the center section stands up,
which is perfect to put on display.

Lemon Lime Twist — 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ — with 4 1/4″ edge at top — score at 2 1/8″
Turn — with 5 1/2″ edge at top — cut at 2 3/4″ from top edge to score line
Then cut opposite edge at 1″ and 4 1/2″ from edge to score line; 7/8″ x 5 3/8″
Basic Black — 2 pieces — 2 1/2″ x 4″; 1″ x 5 1/2″; 1 7/8″ x 3 1/4″
Designer Paper — 2 pieces — 2 3/4″ x 3 7/8″
Basic White — 3/4″ x 5 1/4″; 1 3/4″ x 3 1/8″

Birthday / Fun Folds / Hand Made Cards

Inked & Tiled with Decorative Mask

Today I have a simple but elegant card to share using the stamp set Inked & Tiled with Decorative Mask called Artistic Mix.  I really love the simplicity and monochromatic looks of Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

We started with a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White Cardstock and Lost Lagoon stamp pad.
Using a Blending Brush and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, we added a subtle Lost Lagoon background on part of the Basic White piece, next we stamped the flowers and greeting with Pretty Peacock ink.
The Basic White layer was adhered to 4″ x 5 1/4″ Pretty Peacock and then to the 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Lost Lagoon card base.  Don’t forget to add three Basic Rhinestone Jewels for just a little bling.
