Beautifully Happy Boxed Card Set

Before we really move into the upcoming Annual Catalog I wanted to share
this Beautifully Happy Boxed Card Set from my Cabin Fever event.
This was one of the optional classes guests could choose.
Participants made this beautiful set of 6 cards plus the wonderful box to hold the cards.
The project has many items that are leaving us at the end of this month but there are also a few things
that will be staying with us.  You will definitely want to get these retiring items before they are gone.

This project features the Beautifully Happy stamp set which was a Sale-a-Bration choice in January and February plus the Brushstrokes 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper.  The color combinations in this paper blended together to create exquisite cards that were simple to make.

 

 

This stamp set was so beautiful but a bit overlooked, I was astonished at how simple
but elegant it was when I played the set.

The box was decorated to coordinate with the 6 cards and envelopes.
I used the Basic Borders Die for the box lid.  The box was held shut with a mini Velcro Dot
under the stamped layers.

The flower image is stamped with Sahara Sand ink and then stamped with Soft Succulent and Blushing Bride.

I am sad to see Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride and Soft Succulent leave us along with the
White 1/4″ Crinkled Ribbon and Brushstrokes Specialty Paper (which is discounted 50%).

I have a fun card to share with you today — Irresistible Blooms – Hooray it’s Your Day!!
It features the Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper and Irresistible Blooms Bundle.
This paper is so pretty with a couple of different color combinations you get quick
cards that are stunning and will really wow the recipient.

Measurements:

  • Flirty Flamingo – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2” – score at 4 1/4″; 1 5/8” x 4 1/8”; 2 pieces – 1 3/8” x 2 3/8”
  • Basic White – 2 pieces — 4” x 5 1/4″; 3” x 3”
  • Hello Irresistible DSP – 1 1/2″ x 4”; 2 pieces – 1 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

 

Instructions:

  • Fold Flirty Flamingo card base on score line
  • Emboss one of 4” x 5 1/4″ Basic White with Basics 3D Embossing Folder (hash taggy one)
  • Adhere to card front
  • Adhere second 4” x 5 1/4″ Basic White inside card
  • Adhere Designer Papers to coordinating Flirty Flamingo pieces, then to card front
  • Die cut 3” x 3” Basic White with Stylish Shapes Dies – 2nd largest
  • Stamp “Hooray, it’s your day” with Gray Granite ink
  • Adhere to card front
  • Die cut flower from Designer Paper – attach to Basic White circle with Dimensionals
  • Add three small Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels

Cabin Fever – Wreath of Blooms Framed Art

Here’s another optional class from Cabin Fever – Wreath of Blooms Framed Art.
I think this was my favorite project.  When the Wreath of Blooms Kit came out my first thought was
this would be perfect for a framed art project, then I saw Robbie Susan post an 8″ x 8″ framed art and
knew this had to be a project for Cabin Fever.  I worked with Robbie Susan’s layout but changed to an
8″ x 10″ frame, changed to Abigail Rose Designer Paper and added the Dreams phrase from the
Covered in Sunshine stamp set.  They received a package of Iridescent Pastel Gems to add a little
bling to the framed art.  I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and so did my guests who decided to do
this optional kit.  Thank goodness I had a couple of extra kits prepped for those who needed to add
it the day of the event.
