Card Sketch Challenge – Circle Sayings

During last night’s FB Live I shared April’s Card Sketch Challenge – Circle Sayings.
I gave some sneak peeks at new product coming in the Annual Catalog on May 2nd.
The colors are fabulous, the designer papers I was able to order are fun with interesting
color combinations, prints and textures.
I quickly made a few samples using the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Paper.
There is very little stamping on these cards, the designer paper did all the work.

Then I shared April’s Card Sketch using the beautiful Countryside Inn Designer Paper
and the Circle Sayings Stamp Set and 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. This is a fun Card Sketch, I hope
you’ll give this month’s challenge a try!!!

These are the colors in the Countryside Inn Designer Paper.
I love the monochramatic look, it’s quite sunning.

I started with Night of Navy card base, then added an embossed layer of Boho Blue.
The designer paper pieces are matted with Night of Navy, then added to the card front.

MEASUREMENTS:
Night of Navy — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
1 5/8″ x 4 1/8″; 2 pieces — 1 3/8″ x 2 3/8″
Boho Blue — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3″ x 3″
Countryside Inn DSP — darker piece — 1 1/2″ x 4″
Countryside Inn DSP — lighter pieces — 2 pieces — 1 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

Cabin Fever – Today is the Day Cards

Cabin Fever – Today is the Day Cards
This is the third project from Cabin Fever. The Today is the Day Memories & More Card Pack
make it simple to make quick but beautiful and fun cards.

I used the memories & more cards as designer paper and we created 8 wonderful cards and many of them are fun folds too. Everyone received the Today is the Day Memories & More Card Pack and a package of
Iridescent Pastel Gems so they had lots left to create many more cards.

The greeting on card 1 is one of the 3″ x 4″ cards in the pack — I trimmed it down and added
to the card front with Dimensionals.

The greeting was cut from one of the cards using the Layering Circles Dies.

This card was beautiful on its own. I just added a little ribbon to give it a more elegant feel.

Later this week I’ll share the optional classes guests could add on to their Cabin Fever experience.

Cabin Fever 2023 – Potted Geranium

Today I’m sharing the second project at Cabin Fever 2023 – Potted Geranium Hanging Art Plaque.
This piece is perfect to get us ready for Spring. It features the Potted Geranium Stamp Set and Dies
with Abigail Rose Designer Paper for the background.

These hanging plaques were found at Dollar Tree and I knew they would be perfect for a Spring art piece.
I made some adjustments to the plaque by removing burlap ribbon between each plaque and adding white ribbon. There was another plaque that was removed. Next I added layers of Basic Black and Smoky Slate cardstock and a layer of Abigail Rose Designer Paper. The flower pots are stamped on Smoky Slate cardstock
with Smoky Slate ink and the flowers are stamped with Flirty Flamingo and Evening Evergreen ink
and die cut to add to the pots. This is such a sweet and simple project that looks great
anywhere in your home.
