Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2023 is in the Books!!

My heart is full — I spent this past weekend with 61 fabulous ladies plus my sister for our 17th Annual Stampin’ Sisters Retreat at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockford.  We laughed and stamped the weekend away.

Everyone waits in the hall outside our conference room until it’s time to open the doors.
They’re so excited to see how the room looks!!

And the doors are opened to reveal this year’s theme — BEE Creative!!!

The front table was adorable.  Tina created the chalkboard art, a friend gave me the adorable bee gnome for Christmas, the “Hive Rules” artwork was from Michael’s.  We added some boxes that we wrapped with cute bee wrapping paper and we sprinkled Bit O’Honey candies on the table.  It turned out so cute!!

We put Prize Patrol numbers inside little beehive boxes and of course,
added some Bit O’Honey candy to snack on throughout the night.

Each Newbie and Team Member received another adorable beehive box with a special little gift from us.

Enjoy the Adventure Hello

Have you seen the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card Pack in the Spring Mini Catalog?  They are so colorful and definitely have Spring colors.  I used them for my Coffee, Cocoa and Cards Class this week — everyone received 1/2 package of the card pack, 1/2 package of the Enjoy the Adventure Cards & Envelopes PLUS a package of the Gold Faceted Adhesive-Backed Sequins.  We created 8 cards and they had lots of leftovers for more creating.  One of the cards is this fun Enjoy the Adventure Hello.  It is super simple but still very stunning, any recipient would LOVE to receive this card with a heartfelt message inside.

 

Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card Pack, Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, Stamp with Peggy

 

The card base is from the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelope pack.  This is such a great pack — 20 cards with coordinating envelopes.  The cards are 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ so you have a little more room to write your message.  I started with the Hello Memories & More Card — I trimmed the 3″ x 4″ card to 2 5/8″ wide by 3″ tall, then I adhered that to Basic Black, it makes the colors pop.  Then I adhered the 3″ x 4″ dotted card to another Basic Black and adhered it to the card front.  Hello is attached to the card front with Dimensionals.  To finish the card, I added three of the Gold Faceted Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the bottom corner of the card (they are missing from the picture).

If you haven’t used these yet, you really need to, you get fabulous cards without a lot of work — so cute!!!
