Day 3 — 12 Days of Christmas with Peggy
What a great way to give a gift card.
This adorable snowman card opens up with a fun greeting and pocket to place a gift card.

MEASUREMENTS:

Basic White — 2 7/8″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″; 1 1/2″ x 2 7/8″
Basic Black — 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″; 2″ x 4″
Pumpkin Pie — 1/2″ x 1 1/4″
Real Red Ribbon — 10″

1. Fold 2 7/8″ x 11″ Basic White on score line
2. Round cut the open edges with approx. 3″ Layering Circles Die by slipping open edges over bottom edge of circle die and then under the top edge — run through Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
3. Stamp greeting with Memento and Real Red inks on 1 1/2″ x 2 7/8″ Basic White
4. Adhere bottom and both side edges to inside of snowman body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (green glue) — very thin lines of glue. Bottom edge is at score line.  Gift card tucks in pocket
5. Die cut 3 1/2″ Basic Black with 3″ and 2 1/4″ Layering Circles Dies to create a ring — cut in half and glue to front top of snowman body
6. Die cut 2 smallest Stylish Shapes Dies from Basic Black
7. Punch 5 – 1/2″ circles from Basic Black (I used retired punch)
8. Glue 2 Black circles for eyes — use White Gel Pen to create sparkle line in eyes
9. Glue 3 Black circles to body for coal buttons
10. Use Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw mouth
11. Use Sponge Dauber with Petal Pink stamp pad to make cheeks
12. Cut 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ Pumpkin Pie on diagonal for nose — glue between eyes and mouth
13. Attach 2 Stylish Shapes circles with Dimensionals for earmuffs
14. Wrap ribbon around and tie knot for scarf — don’t pull too tight — you need to be able to slide scarf off

Day 2 – Christmas Lollipop Holders

Santa's Delivery Stamp Set, 2021-2023 6" x 6" Designer Paper Stack, Christmas, Treat Holder, Santa's Workshop, 12 Days of Christmas, Stamp with Peggy

 

MEASUREMENTS:
Garden Green — 4″ x 7 3/4″ — with 4″ edge at top — score at 1/2″ & 3 1/2″
turn – with 7 3/4″ edge at top — score at 2″ & 2 1/2″ and mark both top & bottom edge at 4 1/2″
Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper — 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″; 1 3/4″ x 4″
Basic Black — 5/8″ x 1 5/8″
Basic White — 1/2″ x 1 1/2″; 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″

1. Stamp penguin with Memento ink on 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ Basic White
2. Color beak with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend — die cut with Santa’s Train Dies
3. Stamp greeting with Memento ink on 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ Basic White
4. Adhere to 5/8″ x 1 5/8″ Basic Black
5. Trim off side edges as shown in black in template
6. Cut on score lines of 1/2″ center section
7. Fold on all score lines
8. Put Tear & Tape on the 1/2″ sections of the 2″ front panel
9. Fold up, adhere the 1/2″ flaps to back 1/2″ x 2″ section, then fold front over and adhere 1/2″ x 2″ edges
10. Punch top corners with Very Best Trio Punch (don’t forget you have to flip cardstock over for the second corner)
11. Adhere 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ Designer Paper to front, then 1 3/4″ x 4″ to the back tucking into the box area
12. Adhere penguin
13. Attach greeting with Dimensionals

I am having a little fun with 12 Days of Christmas with Peggy.

I’m going to share a little project or card with you each day for the next 12 days!!

NOW, on to Day 1 of my 12 Days of Christmas with Peggy

Day 1 — Snowman Kit Kat Holder

Snowman Kit Kat Treat Holder, Santa's Workshop, 12 Days of Christmas, Stamp with Peggy


This adorable little snowman is tucked into an empty Extra Gum holder and is just the right size for a Kit Kat bar.  You can even tuck a gift card or some money inside for an extra special treat.  He is quick and easy to make.

Measurements:
Basic White — 4 1/8″ x 7 1/4″ — score at 2 3/8″, 2 7/8″, 3 5/8″; 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Basic Black — 1/2″ x 2 3/4″; 1″ x 2 1/2″
Pumpkin Pie — 5/8″ x 1 5/8″
Black & White Gingham Ribbon — 8″

1. Fold on all score lines
2. Stamp snowflakes from All Bundled Up with Night of Navy stamped off on right and left panels
3. Stamp greeting with Memento on 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ Basic White
4. Adhere to 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ Basic Black, then to bottom of middle panel
5. Tie small bow in ribbon — attach to greeting sign with Mini Glue Dots
6. Punch 1″ x 2 1/2″ Basic Black with 1/2″ punch (I used a retired punch – sorry)
7. Draw white “sparkle” in eyes with white gel pen (not Stampin’ Up!) — adhere eyes
8. Cut Pumpkin Pie piece in half diagonally from one point to the opposite point — adhere below eyes
9. Draw mouth with Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker
10. Use Sponge Dauber with Petal Pink stamp pad to add cheeks
11. Put into empty Extra Gum plastic holder — trace along bottom edge of lid and trim edge of Basic White
12. Use Bone Folder to help curve the smaller section to fit into gum box lid better
