Fun with Nuts About Squirrels

Last night we had a little fun with Nuts About Squirrels!!!
What a great stamp set to work with — definitely made me feel like Fall is just around the corner.

We started with a Fall Birthday card.
I love this squirrel smiling at the recipient while sitting on the tree branch.
Don’t forget to stamp the envelope too — that lets the recipient know there’s a nice surprise inside.

Card measurements:


Cajun Craze — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
Early Espresso — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Gray Granite — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic White — 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″


Next we made a cute box using Peaceful Prints Designer Paper.

The squirrel is on a ribbon belly band so he just slips off to reveal the goodies inside.

Pretty Pumpkins Bundle & Cork Specialty Paper

A pretty card with Pretty Pumpkin Bundle & Cork Specialty Paper.
The Cork Paper gives great texture and depth to this card.

This is a perfect card for fall with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso cardstock.
The Cork Paper adds a woodtone to the card.

The pumpkins are stamped in Memento ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.
Next we colored them with Stampin’ Blends and cut the pumpkins out with the Detailed Pumpkin Dies.
Next we stamped the greeting with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla and then I fussy cut around the greeting.
