Eden’s Garden Buckle Card

Fun with Eden’s Garden Buckle Card!
A buckle card has a unique closure.
The card features Ever Eden Designer Paper and Eden’s Garden Stamp Set.

I used the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut a “slit” in the card front panel.
Then I attached the “buckle” on the right side under the Basic White layer.

When you adhere the mat layer on the front panel, you put adhesive ONLY
around the outside edges — DO NOT put adhesive in the center or
your “buckle” won’t fit in the “slit”.

The floral image was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink, then fussy cut
and added to the Stitched So Sweetly Dies on the card front with Dimensionals.

 

Measurements:

Evening Evergreen — 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ — score at 4 1/4″; 1 7/8″ x 4″ – score at 1/2″ for buckle;
Evening Evergreen — 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ for die cut
Soft Succulent — 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″; 2 1/2″ x 3″ for die cut; 1″ x 3″ for die cut
Ever Eden Designer Paper — 2 5/8″ x 5 1/8″; 1 3/4″ x 3 3/8″
Basic White — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ for stamped image

Whimsy & Wonder DSP Christmas

It’s a Whimsy & Wonder DSP Christmas.
Today’s card features the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper
with the Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set.

A few months ago, I started offering a Designer Paper Class in the Mail.
Each class featured three different Designer Paper packs.
In the class kit everyone received 36 – 48 — 4″ x 6″ pieces of Designer Paper
plus 20 — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ coordinating cardstock and an Embellishment.
Then I design six cards — 2 for each package of Designer Paper.

This card was one of the cards from the October Designer Paper Class.
It’s a Whimsy & Wonder DSP Christmas Card.

This paper is so pretty it didn’t need any stamping except a greeting.
I added a 1/4″ strip of Silver Foil to pull the silver accents from the paper.

Here are the measurements so you can make this card:

Thick Basic White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Mint Macaron – 4” x 5 1/4″; 2” x 3 1/4″
Basic White – 2” x 3 1/4″
Whimsy & Wonder DSP – holly – 3 7/8” x 3 7/8”
Whimsy & Wonder DSP – Mint Macaron – 1 1/2″ x 3 7/8”; save scrap to fussy cut holly
Silver Foil – 1/4″ x 3 7/8”

Eden’s Garden Note Box

Last night’s Facebook Live I made this Eden’s Garden Note Box
using the NEW Eden’s Garden Collection which is available starting TODAY!!

Some of the items in this new collection are available only WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
and I don’t think they will last long.  The Ever Eden Specialty Designer Paper is so beautiful,
the Ever Eden Cotton Paper will give us some fun texture and the Garden Gems are gorgeous.

Tonight’s project uses the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Paper as the main focus
for this unique box that hold 6 – 3″ x 3″ note cards with envelopes.

Each card uses a different Designer Paper print.

 


I used the Double Oval Punch and the Heart Punch Pack for the greetings on the cards.

 


This Dear Friend greeting is perfect for checking in on those you don’t see often.

 


We could all use a hug, don’t you think?

 


The simple Hello greeting with this Designer Paper print is great for a masculine note.

 


A splotched background works for a masculine card too.
