Batter Up Paper Pumpkin Alternates

Each month I have a class for alternate ideas for the Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Oh My Gosh — I had so much fun with the May Paper Pumpkin Kit — Batter Up!!!
I used Real Red, Pacific Point and Bumblebee color combo for the projects.

COLOR COMBO

This color combo was so bright and cheery and fun to work with.
I had lots of inspiration from projects I saw online — I had a hard time stopping.
There were tons of supplies left to make many more cards and projects.

All participants made 3 cards, 2 treat holders and a framed art or scrapbook page.

The designer paper on this card is the flap of a envelope from the kit.

The pennant in the background of this card reminds me of a baseball base

I love that this kit came with 3 pieces of Dubble Bubble Gum — I purchased
more to create the cello bag with topper.

What is a baseball game without a bag of peanuts?
We made this adorable box to hold that bag of peanuts!!!

Our final project was an 8″ x 10″ framed art piece or scrapbook page.
We used die cuts from the kit along with some stamped images
using the stamp set in the kit.
It’s all set for that special picture to be added.

I hope you enjoyed my alternate projects.

Expressions in Ink Popcorn Purse/Pouch

With each new catalog my sister, Tina, and I host a stamping event for our team members
and other demonstrator friends.  Tina and I each designed projects using the Expressions in Ink Suite.

I designed this 3D Project used the Expressions in Ink Designer Paper as the main focus.
The Artistically Inked Bundle was used for the Pale Papaya flower embellishment on the front.

When the purse is opened a bag of microwave popcorn is revealed.
The inspiration for this project came from a pouch that fellow demonstrator,
Mary Knabe, created.  I loved the concept so I made the project work
for this beautiful suite.

This is a quick project to make and you could make it any size
to fit any treat (candy bars, etc) or even a gift card.

It would also be a great favor for a bridal shower.

Inspired Thoughts with Artistic Die

When a new catalog beings, many demonstrators do Paper Shares.
It’s a great way to get a little of all of the designer papers in the catalog.
I’ve started doing something a little different, I got the idea from fellow demo, Jackie Bolhuis.
I am doing a series of Designer Paper Classes.
Each month I chose 3 Designer Papers — everyone receives approx. 36 – 4″ x 6″
pieces of paper — 1 of each design.  I add 20 half sheets of coordinating cardstocks
and a package of embellishments and then they receive a kit to make 6 cards
using the cardstocks and papers that are featured for that month.
I use one greeting stamp set for all six cards.

Here is one of last month’s cards featuring the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper
and the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.
I added the beautiful detailed flower from the Artistic Dies.

This is a great way to sample and find the papers you like the best.
For June we are using You’re a Peach, Bloom Where You are Planted and Brights 6″ x 6″ Papers.

I can’t wait to design with these beautiful papers.
