Team Swap Framed Art

From time to time I do a swap with my Team Members.
This month we did a Spring them of 3″ x 3″ squares that we put together for a 12″ x 12″ Framed Art piece.
Only 6 of us participated this time so I got a little creative with a center panel and the
squares above and below.

The only rules we had was all supplies had to be Stampin’ Up! products.
The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle was a popular choice along with pretty flowers.

Top Row squares were created by Sharon Mallo, Tracy Everhart and Peggy Murwin
Bottom Row squares were created by Maria Childers, Nancy DeFrancisco and Katie Campbell

I added the strip of True Love Designer Paper, butterflies and the greeting from Butterfly Brilliance.

Huge Thank You to the ladies that participated.
I am so happy with how this turned out — it is on display in my family room.

One Sheet Wonder Mystery Stamping

As way say good-bye to many retiring products I wanted to share this fun
One Sheet Wonder Mystery Stamping Class that I had last week.
We used a 6″ x 6″ piece of True Love Designer Paper (you could use any designer paper).
I shared the template and walked everyone through cutting the pieces.
Then I gave Clues for each step of the assembling process.
I loved seeing how different each card was than the one I created.
Everyone had a great time and they look forward to doing many more of these sessions.

Here is the set I cards that I made along with everyone.
I used Highland Heather and Purple Posy (a retiring In Color), Ornate Floral Embossing Folder,
Medium Daisy Punch, Opal Rounds and Butterfly Gems (retiring).

All four cards have a layer of Basic White that is embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder
(one of my all time favorites).

Each card also had a Highland Heather daisy — I punch out 2 daisies using the Medium Daisy Punch.
The flowers are attached together with Mini Glue Dot and then to the card with a Dimensional.
An Opal Rounds is added to the center of each daisy.

The greetings are all from Many Mates and stamped with Memento ink.

Each card is finished off with Butterfly Gems in coordinating colors.

Some of the group had the Highland Heather/Purply Posy card set and others had Terracotta Tile and Old Olive.  The measurements are all the same size but different colors make the cards look a whole lot different.

This card set used the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder and Gilded Gems.

and a great way to use up your 6″ x 6″ designer papers.

Peony Garden Sympathy Cards

We’ve had a couple of tragedies these past weeks and I’ve needed some Sympathy cards.
Thank goodness I did a Sympathy Card Class last month using the Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set – Heal Your Heart
along with the Retiring Designer Paper – Peony Garden.

The colors in this designer paper are very elegant and calming.

We made a set of 5 stunning cards.

The Elegant Faceted Gems put the finishing touch on each card.
