Summer Splash – Well Written & Brights Mini Album

Today is my final project from my Summer Splash Retreat in a Box.
This was a favorite project for most of the participants.

This fun mini album is 4″ x 4″ and holds a ton of your summer pictures.
The focus of the album is the Brights Designer Paper.
I used the Well Written dies to decorate the front along and the
Hippo & Friends Dies for the labels.

The Mango Melody panel on the left opens to expose a Melon Mambo panel.

The Melon Mambo panel has two small flaps that also open up.

Then the Mango Melody panel on the right opens to expose a Gorgeous Grape panel with flaps that open.

We’re almost done — the Bermuda Bay flaps in the center open up to expose a Whisper White center panel.

The center panel flips over for two more picture spots.

Finally the back of our adorable Mini Album.
This was fun to make and as you can see you can put a lot of summer fun pictures in here.

We are always looking for good masculine card ideas so one of my Summer Splash card kits
was masculine cards using the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack.
I added Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider, Mossy Meadow and Basic Black cardstock
and created these 8 wonderful cards.

Dream Big — a perfect birthday card for a teenage boy

I love the map background and the world globe in the center.

 

The memories & more card packs have 3″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″ cards.
As you can see, most of the 3″ x 4″ cards I added a mat layer behind.
When I used the 4″ x 6″ cards, I trimmed those down to fit the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card bases.

Tasteful Touches Cards & Portfolio

Today I have a beautiful set of cards, including a portfolio to hold the cards and envelopes.
I used the In Good Taste Suite which is full of wonderful products — Tasteful Touches Stamp Set,
Tasteful Labels Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and In Good Taste Designer Paper.
My color palette is Terracotta Tile and Gray Granite, which I think worked perfect.

I love all the detail and texture on this first card – the designer paper looks like a warm, cozy sweater.

A very simple card but the hanging flowers add so much.
