Pressed Petal Thank You

I just LOVE the Pressed Petals designer paper and most of the items in the
Pressed Petals Suite.

This picture from the catalog just doesn’t do the paper justice — it is so pretty.

Here’s another fun card I made using the designer paper, Scripty Embossing Folder and the Petal Labels Die — love this look!!!

This card has a lovely softness to it that I just love.
The Petal Labels Dies are amazing — I just couldn’t get enough of them.

Scripty Embossing Folder with Pressed Petal Washi

Last week I held a Pressed Petals Class.  I had so much fun designing this class and playing with the washi tape.  I think everyone should order the Pressed Petals Washi Tape.  Each flower petal peels off separately and then I placed them on a 1″ circle of Very Vanilla cardstock.  You can add as many or as few petals as you wish.  I did one with four petals on each the top and bottom layers, staggering them to fill the flower.  For other flowers I used six petal and just one layer.  The Pressed Petal Designer Elements make a great center for the flower.

I just love the simplicity of this card.  I cased it from fellow demo Susan Campfield.  Susan used a different embossing folder — I thought the Scripty folder gave such an elegant finish to the card.  The soft suede washi tape gives a fun look over the script background.  The Petal Labels Dies is so elegant.  It gave the perfect mat for the flower.

Bloom & Grow Thank You

Yesterday I shared a masculine card using the Come Sail Away Designer Paper.  Today I used the designer paper again and you’ll be amazed at how different this card looks — very feminine and a little vintage looking.
