A Little Wild — Honey Bear

I love the memories I get when pulling out retiring stamp sets.  The stamp set A Little Wild was a fun favorite and especially this little Honey Bear.  This set has a coordinating framelit set (Little Loves) which makes it so easy to cut out the pieces — especially the little bees — we added six bees to this card.  I picked the color combo from the Share What You Love Designer Paper.

Mossy Meadow — 4 1/4″ x 11″ –score at 5 1/2″
Old Olive — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Share What You Love Designer Paper — cut 2 pieces 1″ x 5 1/8″
Mossy Meadow — 2 3/4″ x 5 1/8″
Whisper White — 2 5/8″ x 5 1/8″
Old Olive — 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ — cut with smallest scallop oval
Whisper White — 4″ x 5″ — stamp bear, hive, bees twice with Memento ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends
Cut with framelits — attach bear and hive with dimensionals — attach bees with Glue Dots

Needle & Thread People Like You

For last night’s Fast & Fabulous Class I pulled out a stamp set that hasn’t seen much ink — Needle & Thread and we used the People Like You phrase for the card.  I cased this card from one my sister, Tina Rappe, did.  I changed the colors to my favorite ones — Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White.

I  love the “stitched floral” die in the framelits — it really does look like you used a needle and thread to create it.  It was definitely a fascination for the ladies at class, most hadn’t used this type of die before — it creates the image without cutting it out — so fun!!

*Bermuda Bay base — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
*Coastal Cabana — 4″ x 5 1/4″
*Whisper White — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ – emboss/cut the swirly floral with the die – stamp People Like You with Bermuda Bay
*Pool Party 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon — 15″ tie a bow in the center
*Whisper White — 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ — stamp larger flower with Bermuda Bay ink (stamp off once), stamp smaller flower with full Bermuda Bay. Cut out using the framelits
*Bermuda Bay — 1 1/2″ x 2″ — cut out leaf using the framelit
