Over the Moon Tutorial

Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets – Over the Moon (149331)
  • Card Stock – Night of Navy (100867); Seaside Spray (150883); Whisper White (100730)
  • Stamp Pads – Memento Ink (132708)
  • Misc. – 2019-2021 In Color 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (149617); Smoky Slate Combo Stampin’ Blends (145058); Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends (146866); Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends (147944); Dark Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends (147030); Stitched Shapes Dies (145372); Layering Squares Dies (141708); Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:  

  • Night of Navy:     4 1/4” x 5 1/2”                   2 1/4” x 4 3/4″         3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
  • Seaside Spray:    4” x 5 1/4”
  • Whisper White:    3” x 3”
  • DSP:                   2” x 4”         

Instructions:

  1. Stamp “over the moooon for you!” with Memento Ink on Seaside Spray cardstock
  2. Score 2 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ Night of Navy at 4” – attach 3/4″ flap to back of Seaside Spray
  3. Attach Seaside Spray to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Night of Navy card base
  4. Stamp cow with Memento ink on Whisper White – cut out with 2nd largest square from Stitched Shapes Dies
  5. Cut out Night of Navy scallop square using the Layering Squares Dies
  6. Color cow – hoofs and spots with Dark Smoky Slate, muzzle with Light Petal Pink, bell with Dark Mango Melody, moon with Dark Pineapple Punch. Underline with Light Smoky Slate
  7. Adhere squares layers and attach to front flap with Dimensionals (don’t put dimensionals on the right side of the squares or you’ll seal you card shut).Over the Moon Stamp Set, 2019-2021 In Colors Designer Paper, Stamp with Peggy

Everything is Rosy Foil Trim

Oh my goodness, the Everything is Rosy dies has such a wonderful leaf trim die.  This die is beautiful with any cardstock but when the Rose Gold Foil is used, it is amazing.  I used the leaf trim together with the floral designer paper for this stunning card.

Card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Melon Mambo and then Whisper White.  The Rose Gold leaf trim is added under the edge of the designer paper — GORGEOUS!!!  Squares of Night of Navy, Melon Mambo and Whisper are added to card front with Dimensionals — the greeting is stamped in Night of Navy.  Finally a pre-printed die cut of flowers is added above the greeting.  I just LOVE this card, I hope you do too.

Everything is Rose Gold

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  Thank goodness the weather turned out great for most of the weekend.  My husband and I went camping — took the camper out for the first time of the year.  It was very quiet and peaceful and we had a great time together.

I have another card from the Everything is Rose Bundle.  One of the things I like about this bundle is the Rose Gold accents, it is everywhere, in the designer paper, the ribbon, the shimmer paint and the little accents.  For this card I used the designer paper that is Melon Mambo with rose gold flowers.  You know how I love different fold, well I saw this fold on Pinterest and knew I had to give it a try.  The flowers from the Everything is Rosy stamp set are wonderful — lots of fun layers.

Don’t you just love how colorful this card is.  I used Melon Mambo ink stamped off and Night of Navy stamped off and full strength.  The Rose Gold flower centers coordinated great with the beautiful designer paper.

The fun fold is the center.
