Valentine Treat Holder

Treat holders are fun to make and when it is a bit unique it is even better.  I was at a Leadership event this past weekend and today’s project was one of the 3-D swaps.  I didn’t swap but I did take pictures of the amazing things that others made.  This candy bar holder was a project I had never seen before and it looks pretty quick to put together.

Since I didn’t receive one I don’t have the measurements but it is definitely a project I will be making so stay tuned for some measurements and directions — maybe I’ll even do a Facebook Live demonstration of it — fingers crossed.

Valentine Treat Purse

Today I have a fabulous purse that will hold wonderful treats for Valentine’s Day.  I saw this cute purse box that fellow demonstrator, Julie Gilson, created and knew that it was perfect for my Stamp & Go Club this month.  It is so simple to assemble that you could make many of them to hand out to family and friends.

Purse Box — Lovely Lipstick – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score on the 5 1/2″ side at 1″ & 4 1/2″, turn and score at 3 3/4″ & 4 3/4″
Purse Box Front — Whisper White – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
Purse Box Front — All My Love Designer Paper — heart — 3 1/8″ x 3 3/8″
Purse Flap — Lovely Lipstick – 3 1/2″ x 4″ — score along the 4″ side at 1 1/2″ & 2 1/2″ — round 2 corners with Detailed Trip Punch

I Love Our Life Together

Valentine’s Day cards don’t always have to be red or pink and they don’t have to be frilly and full of hearts.  Sometimes they can be fun and silly.  Today I have a card that I think is perfect for the man in my life.  I used the So Hoppy Together stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  Isn’t this just adorable.  It is full of “mushiness” (is that a word), it simply says I LOVE OUR LIFE TOGETHER!!!

I stamped the frogs with Memento ink on the Whisper White layer and colored them with Granny Apple Stampin’ Blends.  There is a “treat” coming March 1st — a set of framelits that cut the frogs out — imagine how much cuter this would be with some dimension to the frogs (I can’t wait).  I had to add googly eyes — they made the frogs come alive — don’t you think so.

Granny Apple Green — 4″ x 5 1/4″
