Hostess Appreciation

Last night was my annual Hostess Appreciation Party.  I host a dinner with a little stamping for everyone who has been a hostess over the past year.  We had such a great time together.  I put a little goodie at each spot because chocolate is good for everyone, right.

Forever Love Stamp Set, All My Love Designer Paper, Treat Holder
I saw this cutie on Pinterest and knew that is was perfect as a quick little Thank You gift.  It hold 2 Merci Chocolates.  I said my Thank You’s and then we had a wonderful dinner catered by Olive Garden.  Check out the Build Your Own Pasta Bar – YUM!!

Hostess Appreciation Party
I made a Thank You card for everyone with a little gift inside.  I needed a design quickly so I used one of the cards from Saturday’s Demo Make & Take and changed colors and designer paper.  Look how those two things made such a huge difference in the cards.

Beauty Abounds Stamp Set, Wonderful Romance Designer Paper
This is the card from Saturday.  It uses the Beauty Abounds stamp set (love those litttle butterfly) with the Floral Romance designer paper and Fresh Fig and Pear Pizzazz color combo.

Time for a Spectacular Celebration

The Birthday Cheer stamp set is a lot of fun to work with.  The images are simple and easy to color.  I paired the set with the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder for a fun background.  The primary color combination makes this card bright and cheery.

So Hoppy Together

It’s my favorite time of year in the stamping world — Sale-a-Bration.  I mentioned it last week and shared a few videos of some of the fun products.  Sale-a-Bration is when we can earn FREE products – stamp sets, designer paper, ribbon, embellishments and even a framelit set.  The So Hoppy Together stamp set has been quite a hit already.  My sister, Tina, and I held a stamp day for our team members and other demonstrator friends.  I knew I had to use this stamp set for one of the cards they would all be making.

So Hoppy Together stamp set, Sale-a-BrationDoesn’t this frog look happy and encouraging?  You also get a sneak peak of the Gingham Gala designer paper, another favorite.  I colored the frog with Granny Apple Stampin’ Blends — both light and dark and his tummy and mouth are colored with Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.  I added Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to the flies body and wings.
