November Scrapbook Pages

Last night was my final scrapbook club class for this year.  We take off December & January and start up again in February.  Since it is November, we made Thanksgiving/fall grateful pages.  I had fun designing these pages.

November Scrapbook, Country Lane Designer paper, Country Home stamp set
I used the Country Lane designer paper for accents and the Country Home stamp set with Stampin’ Blends.  These pages are all set to add those Thanksgiving Day pictures.

Here’s a close up of page 1.  I stamped “simply thankful” with Early Espresso ink on a Shaped Stitches framelit.  Next I use the Dark Cajun Craze stampin’ blend to add squiggles and dots around the oval.

This page has a few more “picture spots” so don’t forget to take plenty of pictures.  I used the Subtle Embossing Folder on the center square to add a little more texture.

Sincerely Santa Project Kit Cards

Have you checked out the Sincerely Santa Project Kit found on page 32 of the Holiday Catalog?  This project kit makes 30 fabulous gift tags and comes in a wonderful tin that can be used for gift packaging all by itself.

Look at all those fun pieces!!
As great as the tags are, I didn’t use this kit to make tags.
Instead I made Christmas cards with the tag elements.

The Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper was the perfect background.

The tag, doily, snowflake and ribbon all came from the kit.

I love the silver tree.

Soft and subtle for this card with two doilies behind the greeting.

Don’t you just love the holly leaves and the silver foil strip.

I added Thick Whisper White, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White cardstock and Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to the Sincerely Santa Project Kit.
They are quick and easy to make — you still have time but don’t wait, the Sincerely Santa Project Kit is on the low inventory list — they won’t last long and then they’ll be gone for good.
