And it continues…

Sorry — I missed a day of posting — life happened.  Don't worry we'll catch up.  So now we are on to Project 4 — only one project left after this — well maybe a bonus project too.

Project 4 was this beautiful framed art piece.

Snow FrameWe used the Watercolor Winter Card Kit from the Holiday Catalog.  This kit was designed to make 20 cards — 5 each of 4 different designs.  We decided to try something different than what the kit was intended for.

For this framed piece of art we started with an 8" x 8" piece of Pool Party cardstock.  We used the "snow blotches" from Gorgeous Grunge with Whisper White ink to create a blizzard.  We added torn strips of Whisper White cardstock for the snow hills — a little glue and Dazzling Diamonds make it sparkle like snow.  The sled comes in the kit pre-cut so we used a Cherry Cobbler marker to color it red.  The trees are in the kit too so of course we added more snow sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds.  The fence is made my sponging a woodgrain embossed white cardstock that comes in the kit with Soft Suede ink and cutting the cardstock into 1/2" strips — trim the tops to a point and adhering to look like a fence.  The letters are also pre-cut in the kit so a little more "snow", add a snowflake charm embellishment to the banner and little white snowflakes from the sequins package and you are done with this little beauty.

Wait until tomorrow when you see what else we did with items from this kit — wow, what a value this kit is.

See you tomorrow.

Fall Fest — After Lunch

Lunch is over — time to get back to stamping, right.  First one more little surprise — can you believe I forgot to take a picture of it.  When everyone went back into the stamping room there was a special little treat at their seat — a caramel apple made from the Curvy Keepsake Box Die.  I "stole" Tina's picture — my apple was a little different than this one but at least you get to see kind of what it looked like.

Caramel Apple BoxThis cute treat box was filled with caramels and yummy Riesen's Chocolate Caramels — a great treat for the afternoon.

Now it's time to start stamping again.
Here's the third project of the day:

Festival of Trees
A set of five cards using the Festival of Trees stamp set, coordinating punch, All is Calm designer paper and sequins.  Everyone received their very own package of the sequins.

Come back tomorrow for Project 4 — we're over half way done now.

Card Box Set — more Fall Fest

Here are all the wonderful items that were in the cute card box.
 Card Box Grouping
Aren't these just the cutest.  We used the Under the Tree Tag a Bag Accessory Kit, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Window Sheet and the Trim the Tree designer paper stack to create all these items.

Next gift of the day — everyone received a stack of the Trim the Tree designer paper to take home with them.

Then we had a short break for a nice home cooked lunch.
Lunch Table

The tables were decorated in a fall them.  I used the Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls for the placemats on the table.  Then everyone enjoyed the juicy shredded chicken sandwiches, cheesy broccoli soup, chicken noodle soup and pumpkin cupcakes that I made.

Come back tomorrow to see what other fun things we did.
