Blended Season Miss You

The Blended Season Bundle is amazing, don’t you think?  I’ve been sharing some cards we did made using this bundle — a wedding card, a fall card with blowing wheat and a fall card with beautiful leaves.

Today I wanted share one more card and it may be my favorite.  I cased this card from one I saw while on the Alaskan Cruise.  I just love the simplicity of this card.  You could stamp a sympathy saying, thank you, happy birthday, just a note or here as a Miss You card.

Blended Season Stamp Set, Stitched Season Framelits, Miss You
I love the Gray Granite and Early Espresso simplicity.  I started with a Gray Granite base with a layer of Early Espresso.  The Subtle Embossing Folder was used on Very Vanilla for the main layer.  A frame was cut from Early Espresso cardstock using the two larger sizes of framelits.  On a second piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the flowers in the center and cut out with he middle piece.  We added a little bit of color to the center of the flowers with Sahara Sand.  This finishing touch is the flower that is cut from Sahara Sand cardstock and the Stitched Shapes framelits.

You’re the Friend Everyone Wishes They Had

Fall is my favorite season of the year.  I love the colors, the weather/temps, the smells — just about everything about fall makes me happy.  For today’s card I used the Blended Seasons stamp set along with Gallery Grunge stamp set to make this fun fall card to tell a friend just how special they are.  The Copper Foil Sheet gave me just the look I wanted with Cajun Craze accents.

The floor image is from Gallery Grunge stamped with Early Espresso ink, then the greeting with Cajun Craze.  I stamped the leaves image twice on Very Vanilla cardstock with Stazon ink.  One set of leaves is colored with the new Watercolor Pencils Asst. 2 – Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry.  I used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out a circle surrounding the leaves.  The colored leaves are cut out using Paper Snips and attached with dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to give different heights.  I added Copper Metallic Thread under the circle layers.

Blended Seasons Blowing Wheat Card

If you haven’t ordered the Blended Seasons Bundle yet, you really need to!!  This is a great stamp set that is very versatile.  This bundle is available this month only and you can add brand new Watercolor Pencils to the order too.  I love the colors in this set of pencils and it looks like these might be available only through the end of the month too — so get your order placed before they are all gone.

Check out this fabulous card that I cased from my sister, Tina.  I loved her card but I really wanted the main color to be Cajun Craze — that is my favorite fall color.

Blended Seasons Stamp Set, Stitched Seasons Framelits, Fall
The card base is Granite Gray with an Early Espresso layer and then Cajun Craze that was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I added a 1″ strip of Cajun Craze striped designer paper from the 6″ x 6″ Regals collection that is adhered to a 1 1/4″ strip of Early Espresso.  I used the Stitched Seasons Framelits to cut out the Early Espresso frame piece that is attached to a Very Vanilla frame that I used a Sponge Brayer to add Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry ink.  The wheat is stamped 3-4 times with Memento ink.  I used the Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil to color the wheat.  A Linen Thread bow is added to the bottom with a Glue Dot.  A little sneak peek from the Holiday Catalog — I used a new Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to color pearls that I added to the frame piece.
