I have fallen in love with the lacy image from Southern Serenade stamp set. For this card it gives a soft texture background using Smoky Slate ink and then the flowers are the focal point with plenty of layers.
The flowers are Happy Birthday are stamped with Stazon and colored with Pear Pizzazz and Powder Pink Markers. The flower image and layers are cut out using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Sometimes we don’t stop and enjoy the things around us. We all need to think about the wonderful things that happen to us and just enjoy every minute. The Enjoy Life stamp set helps make a very beautiful card that is simple and elegant. This card was designed by a team member who is also my daughter, Katie Campbell. She used my favorite color, Bermuda Bay for the base and added layers of Black and Whisper White. The Black helps make it all “pop”. She cut a template using the Layering Ovals Framelits and then used a Sponge Dauber with Bermuda Bay ink to fill in the oval. I love how she graduated the colors. The flowers, butterfly and greeting are all stamped with Memento ink — again the black gives a firm look to the card.

I’ve played with this Rhino a few times and I just love him — yes I think it’s a “he”. I used Smoky Slate and Soft Sea Foam with Tranquil Texture designer paper. I need something where the designer paper went over the Soft Sea Foam cardstock (I don’t like a blunt of). A piece of Leaf Ribbon worked perfect. If you haven’t tried this ribbon you absolutely have to — it is wonderful and lots of fun.
Of course the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends were the perfect solution for coloring the Rhino. The Light Crumb Cake worked for the tusk once I used the Color Lifter to lighten the color just a bit.
