Holiday Hoopla Displays

I can’t tell you how much fun I had at our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla.  You can click here to see yesterday’s post.

We had demonstrators do a display using one of the product suites.  Oh, what fun that was.  I got to do the Toil & Trouble Suite.  Here is my display board.  I did some cards, a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page, a 9″ x 9″ framed art project and a treat box decorated and ready for Halloween.  I will share some close ups in the coming days.

Kim did the Country Lane Suite.  Oh my goodness, her cards are glorious.  This suite is one of my classes later in the month.  I would love to mail you one of my kits.

Julie shared the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle.  These projects were wonderful.  She had a few special folds cards that were great.  This is definitely a must have stamp set.

Just in case you can’t tell, Katie LOVES Christmas.  She used the Santa’s Workshop Suite that was filled with goodies.  Her display is amazing.  She even had cookies made to match her display – they were a hit!!!

Tina finished out the displays by using the mega suite — All is Bright (the catalog has 4 fabulous pages for this suite).  Tina made Christmas light bulb cookies to match her display.  We passed those out to everyone as they registered in the morning.

Holiday Hoopla, All is Bright SuiteTina made lots of fun 3-D projects.  She even made a gorgeous table place setting with designer paper as the placemat — super cute.

I’ll share some of the projects over the next few weeks.

Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla

This weekend my sister, Tina Rappe, and I hosted Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla!!!!  What is Holiday Hoopla you ask?  The Holiday Catalog started on Wednesday and we wanted an event for demonstrators to come stamp and see all the fun new product suites and bundles.  Well, we had a blast.

We started Friday night with a Shoebox Swap.  We had 18 participants who brought kits for everyone to stamp and assemble.  Everyone had a great time walking away at 10:00 p.m. with 18 different cards.

While they were stamping away, Tina and I put the finishing touches on the room for Saturday.  Here is the room just waiting for 44 fun loving women.

Saturday morning everyone was greeted at the check-in table.

We had 6 presentations through the day — 5 of the 6 presenters did a display using one of the suites in the catalog.

Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla, Janice Weightman
Janice Weightman did a wonderful presentation on operating your business and time management.

Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla,, Toil & Trouble
Guess what my presentation was on—–yes, the Toil & Trouble Suite.  This is a fabulous suite for making lots of 3-D projects (aka treat holder).

Kim Vogel came from Michigan to present for us.  She did a fabulous job presenting the Country Lane Suite — I love this suite and it was definitely a hit.

Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla, Beautiful Blizzard
Julie Davison came up from Champaign and brought a little snow with her — only paper snow.  She presented the Beautiful Blizzard Suite.  Her projects were great — I can’t wait to share some of them with you.

Then we went into stamping time.  We had 10 cards and a framed art piece for everyone to make.  We took a break for lunch and then started back up with two more presentations.

Katie Campbell (also my daughter) has a huge love for Christmas.  As you can tell, she dressed for the occasion.  Yes, she presented Christmas — Santa’s Workshop — and she loved every minute of it.

Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla, All is Bright Suite
Tina finished up the presentations with the All is Bright Mega Suite.  She wore a red shirt and a gold Christmas tree pin just for the occasion.

Once these presentations were finished they went back to stamping to finish up the rest of their projects.  It was a fun filled night and day and I think all of the ladies in attendance are starting to get ready for the upcoming holiday seasons.

Come back tomorrow to see some of the fun cards and projects that were shared.
