Abstract Impressions Thank You with Basket Weave Embossing

I use a lot of Thank You cards and I like them to be quick and easy.  Today’s card fits that description just right and it is so adorable.  This card used the Abstract Impressions stamp set and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder to give the card a little texture.  The flowers layer is attached to a piece of Vellum Cardstock to soft the background just a bit.

Varied Vases Hello in Bermuda Bay

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!  That’s what I think when I look at this card.  I used the Varied Vases Bundle which are so gorgeous and super fun to play with different flower and vase combinations.  The color combo is one of my new favorites — Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay — it is so bright and cheery.  I layered the flower vase on circles and then on a lacy Pearlized Doily which I sponged the back side of the doily with Coastal Cabana — love the coordination.  I tied a little bow from 1/8″ Sheer Whisper White Ribbon and put it across the card between the circles and the doily.  Last I added a little Hello banner where I added two of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Animal Outing Rhinoceros

Animal Outing is one of the new stamp sets from the Annual Catalog and it has definitely been a popular one.  The set has a kangaroo, a giraffe and this rhinoceros along with some great little phrases.  This stamp set is part of a whole suite of fabulous products.  There is a coordinating set of framelits — that’s right, you don’t have to fussy cut around these adorable animals.  There is also a coordinating cardstock pack, leaf ribbon, frames elements (wood die cut embellishments) and of course designer paper.

For this card, I didn’t have the Animal Expedition designer paper yet so I used the Tranquil Textures designer paper.  I thought it coordinated very well – the blue background makes me think of footprints.  I used a simple layout to truly focus on the stamped image with the subtle backgrounds.
