A Little Old and a Little New

Today I have a little old and a little new (sneak peek) to share with you.  The Beautiful Day stamp set is paired with the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper to create this gorgeous birthday card.  This was a card on a display board at On Stage — I’m not sure who did it (maybe Susan Campfield) but I love the simplicity and the pop of color from the butterfly along with the beautiful new lace ribbon.

The butterfly is stamped on Watercolor Paper and colored in with Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi stamp pads and an Aqua Painter and then “fussy” cut out and attached to the card with dimensionals.  The new Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper is so pretty and fun to work with.  You have to wait until June 1st to order it but you will love it.

Happy Mother’s Day To All!!

I want to wish all the mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day!!  I am spending the day with my mom who is THE BEST mom anyone could have.  She supports all of us in every thing we do.  I have learned to knit, crochet, sew and lots of other crafty things from her.  I hope I am half the mom that she is.

Share What You Love May Scrapbook Pages

The Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper is perfect for scrapbook pages to highlight Mom.  The pretty floral images give a beautiful, soft background to highlight special moments with the important people in our lives.  I used the Love What You Do Stamp Set for the “It’s a beautiful day” oval.  I stamped the little flowers with Rich Razzleberry and used Wink of Stella to color the flowers and add a little sparkle.

I love the “splat” image to add color behind the flowers that are stamped with Memento to make them pop a bit.  I am spending the weekend with my mom so I may need to take a few pictures of us to add to my pages.
