Stained Glass Framelits with Embossing Pads

Have you tried the new Embossing Pads with your Framelits yet?  Oh my gosh this is fun!!!  Some thinlits emboss but don’t cut out — the embossing can be a little light — these new embossing pads deepen the emboss and make it stand out great.  BUT — the best thing is you can use those framelits and thinlits that do cut out images and you can emboss with them – they won’t cut through the cardstock.  Check out this card we made at my Graceful Glass Suite Class.

Painted Glass Stamp Set, Stained Glass Thinlits, Embossing Pads
This is the Stained Glass Thinlits — they leave a deep impression so it shows up very well but does not cut through the cardstock.  I love how these Embossing Pads work and can’t wait to try out lots of other thinlits and framelits.  I used the Everyday Label Punch for the greeting — I stamped, punched and then cut about 1/8″ off top and bottom.

It’s Time for a Tropical Escape

The sun is out, the temps are high — it’s time for a Tropical Escape.  The Annual Catalog has the perfect solution for a tropical party.  The Tropical Escape Suite has lots of fun products — Tropical Chic Stamp Set, Tropical Thinlits, Tropical Escape Designer Paper, Tropical Elements, Tropical Escape Cardstock Pack and 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon.  I love the color combinations of Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green and Blushing Bride.

See how pretty this paper is – it’s great for so many card styles.

Tropical Escape Designer Paper

Here’s a card using the designer paper, stamp set and framelits.  This was a swap card that team member Sharon Mallo made – adorable.
