Stained Glass – A Reason to Celebrate

In only TWO days we can start ordering from the new Annual Catalog!!!  I hope you are as excited as I am — this catalog is amazing with wonderful new products and fabulous samples to help give you inspiration.

This card is made using one of my favorite suites in the catalog — I’m using this suite for my “Suite Surprise” Class in June.  It’s the Graceful Glass Suite — wonderful stamp set, framelits, gorgeous designer vellum, buttons and cording.  This card was on the display board at On Stage (made by Pat Ertmann).  I love the detail of the framelits — it looks like church windows.  A very simple but stunning card.

I can’t share pictures from the catalog yet but I did snap a quick picture of the stamp set, framelits and vellum.
Aren’t they all fabulous!!

Let’s Celebrate Your Day with Birthday Delivery

I love when a stamp set has a coordinating framelit set.  What’s even better than that is when the framelits cut out the designer paper images.  You can make beautiful cards quick and easy when using the framelits — no fussy cutting — woohoo!!

Birthday Delivery Stamp Set, Birthday Friends Framelits, Sparkle Embossing Folder
See what I mean — look at the colors and shading in this birthday cake.  It would take a while to color that with markers or watercolor pencils and get the wonderful shading but this was quick and easy.  I just cut a chunk of the Birthday Memories Designer Paper, took it to my Big Shot with the cake framelit and viola — instant colored cake ready to put on my card with dimensionals.

I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder for some texture and a couple of the Brights Enamel Shapes.

Happy Memorial Day

Today is a day of remembering and honoring those who fought and fight for our freedoms.
As many of us have a day of work and are spending time with family and friends, please stop and say a prayer and a thank you to all the men and women who have and do protect and serve us.
Thank You!!
