Amazing You Card with Grown with Love

The Grown with Love Bundle is one of the retiring bundles that I just haven’t used enough.  It is a beautiful stamp set that has coordinating framelits to cut out and give your card some dimension.  This card was inspired by a card Mary Fish did.  It is sweet and simple with some nice layer.

 

Grown with Love Stamp Set, Garden Grown Framelits
Measurements:
Rose Red (retiring) – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — scored at 4 1/4″
Whisper White – (2) 4″ x 5 1/4″ — one for layer and one for stamping
Wild Wasabi (retiring) – 3″ x 4 1/4″
Smoky Slate – 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ & 1/2″ x 4″ for under layers
Whisper White – 2 3/4″ x 4″

On one of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White pieces – stamp “amazing you” flower once with Rose Red ink and again with Wild Wasabi ink.  Stamp flower pot with Smoky Slate ink.  Cut out using the Garden Grown Framelit (cut Wild Wasabi flowers with the full framelit.  Cut the three larger Rose Red tulips with the individual tulip framelits, then use the full framelit to cut out and trim around the two smaller tulips).  Attach Rose Red tulips to Wild Wasabi flowers with Glue Dots.
I used Dimensionals to attach the Wild Wasabi flowers and flower pot.

Heartfelt Sympathy is Elegant

Sympathy cards are not always the most fun to make but are so nice to have on hand.  Our dear friend’s mother just passed away and I thought this card was just right to send to them.  It is elegant and simple with some gold embossing on the front and the verse inside.  Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set is retiring (only 7 days left to get it) and it is such a beautiful stamp set and perfect for those hard to make cards.

Thick Very Vanilla – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″
Gold Foil Sheets – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Very Vanilla – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ — put adhesive only in the center under the oval
Gold 1/8″ Ribbon – 6″
Gold Foil Sheet – 3″ x 4″ — cut out largest oval using Layering Ovals Framelits
Very Vanilla – 3″ x 4″ — stamp greeting with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder — cut out with Layering Ovals Framelits (it’s a tight fit but it works).  Stamp verse inside with VersaMark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.

Sympathy

Final Farewell

Last night I held a Final Farewell Class.  We focused on products that are saying farewell and retiring in just one week.  We had a great time using fun products to create four fabulous cards.  After we finished making the cards, we played the Saran Wrap Ball Game.  What a great time that was!  I took retiring accessories and wrapped them up in Saran Wrap.  The attendees had to wear oven mitts and unwrap the Saran Wrap ball to get the prizes while the next player rolled dice trying to get doubles and move the Saran Wrap ball to the next player.

We divided into two teams that each had a ball filled with prizes.  They enjoyed the game and got into it pretty good.

We’ll definitely do this again some time.
