Nature’s Poem Phuket Elephant Sanctuary

For my Nature’s Poem presentation they wanted me to make a scrapbook.  I tried to decide what pictures I wanted to use to go with the suite.  I decided on my series of pictures from our trip to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary last summer on the Thailand Incentive Trip.  It was my favorite part of the trip by far and this series of pictures is my husband, Tony, and I feeding the elephants and “posing” for a picture with them.  I thought it was cool for about 15 seconds and then the elephant just wanted the banana I was holding and get throwing her trunk at me to get it.  I started out smiling and the final picture says it all.

This suite has so many great elements it is so fun to work with.  I can’t wait for all of you to be able to purchase it.

I made a fun little Hershey’s Nugget holder with the cardstock pack and the designer paper.

Tomorrow I’ll share the Christmas cards I made with this stamp set.

Nature’s Poem Framed Art

I had the honor of being a Product Showcase Presenter for our Milwaukee On Stage Event.  I shared a new product suite from the upcoming Annual Catalog.  My suite is Nature’s Poem.  There are so many fabulous products in this suite — stamp set, framelits, designer paper, cardstock pack, twine and embellishments.  I wanted to start with one of my favorite projects — if you follow me you know that I love to do framed art.  This suite was wonderful for that.  I used one of the designer papers for the background and added my layers from there.

I added a little look of texture with the Burlap background stamp.  I love how this turned out.  You’ll have to wait until June 1st to order the product to make this but it is definitely worth the wait.

More On Stage Fun

I have a couple more fun pictures from On Stage that I wanted to share with you.  Stampin’ Up! always does such a fabulous job of making us feel special.  Look how pretty each table setting was (I grabbed someone elses pretty picture — I forgot to take a picture of our table — it had yellow placement and notebooks).

We had 22 total in our team at On Stage.  Lots of cute little gifts were exchanged.  Check out the whole display of fun things.  My sister, Tina, made the cute little suitcase box on the right.  That was a gift from her and I to each team member.  There was a snickers bar inside in case any one got “hangry” during the day.  Sandi gave each of us the round “31” bag with Stampin’ Sisters — that’s what we call our team.

Here’s a yummy treat we received in the afternoon to give us some energy.  They even had gluten-free ones and they were fabulous.

One final picture for today.  Here is a picture of my display board.  I’ll be sharing individual projects over the next few days.  I hope you’ll come back to see them.
