Sweet Soiree Designer Paper For You

The Sweet Soiree Designer Paper is the highlight of this card.  The cards are gorgeous together with some fun silver accents.  I wanted to keep this card super simple so the paper could be the main focus.  I added some of the Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon, stamped “For You”  on a Whisper White Stitched Circle that is layered on a Berry Burst scallop circle that cut out with the Layering Circles Framelits.

Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon  – 2 pieces 6″ — attach one piece around designer paper layer — slip other piece under and tie in a knot
Berry Burst — 2″ x 2″ — cut out scallop circle with Layering Circles Framelit
Whisper White — 2″ x 2″ — cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelit — stamp “for you” with Berry Burst ink

Sweet Soiree Wedding Card

I haven’t had any wedding in my family or friends for many years.  This year I have four wonderful friends and family whose children are getting married between April and June — I’m so excited for all of them.  This elegant wedding card was made using the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit (I love this kit — it is a MUST HAVE and it’s only $11 — worth SO MUCH more).

The Garden Trellis Embossing Folder gives the beautiful background for the silver accented wedding cake and flower bouquet.  The simply “Best Wishes” label give a very subtle greeting to the bridal couple.  This is such a simple card but it so stunning when you see it in person.  All you have to do is add a check to the lovely newlyweds and they are all set to start their life together.

Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit for Your Birthday

Have you seen the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit on page 13 of the Occasions Catalog — oh my gosh, it is fabulous.  The catalog doesn’t show how gorgeous this kit really is.  The beautiful flowers are die cuts — they are already colored and laser cut out for you, just punch out and apply.  I cased this layout from my sister, Tina Rappe, it is simple with a pop of Berry Burst.  The Softly Falling Embossing Folder gives some background texture and the Stitched Shape Berry Burst Oval gives the pop of color to attach those gorgeous flowers.  I used Rose Wonder stamp set for the label outline and Happy Birthday and cut it out with the matching Rose Garden Framelits.

Here is the same layout except this time I used Smoky Slate and the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and added some loops of Silver Baker’s Twine to make a beautiful Sympathy card.
