Fruit Basket – Pear Hello

I have another fun sneak peek for you from the Occasions Catalog.

Fruit Basket Stamp Set, Tutti-frutti Designer Paper, Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon, Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack


I used the new Fruit Basket stamp set to stamp the pear with Lemon Lime Twist on a scrap of Whisper White and then added the stem with Early Espresso, then punch out the pear with the coordinating Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack.  I cut a 1″ x 3″ strip of Whisper White, punched one end with the Triple Banner Punch and stamped the words with Early Espresso.  I used the new Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder on Lemon Lime Twist layer.  A 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ piece of Tutti-frutti designer paper is layered on 2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″ Lemon Lime Twist and that is layered on a 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ Night of Navy square.  I added a piece of the Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon between the Night of Navy and Lemon Lime Twist square layers and then wrapped the ends around the Lemon Lime Twist Sequin card layer.

I love the color combo of this card and the Tutti-frutti designer paper helps pull it all together.

Now we start getting ready for the 2018 Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration!!!!  Our favorite time of year.  There are fabulous new stamp sets to play with.  The first one I wanted to share with you is Hedgehugs!!  Two adorable hedgehogs, a squirrel and a bird on a limb and four wonderful greetings.

I received this card in a swap and I love its simplicity.  The Hardwood background stamp was used with Soft Suede ink to create the texture background and mounted on a Bermuda Bay card base.  The hedgehog was stamped with Soft Suede (stamp off once) on a circle that was cut using the Stitched Shapes framelit.  This circle is mounted on a Bermuda Bay scallop circle cut with Layering Circles Framelit.  Adorable You was added with Early Espresso ink.  The tree trunk was stamped with Early Espresso ink and cut out with Paper Snips.  Sending Hedgehugs your way was also stamped with Early Espresso and cut out with Layering Circles Framelit.  A hole was punched in this circle with the 1/8″ Handheld Punch and tied on with ribbon (sorry ribbon is swap is retired — use the 3/8″ Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron Ribbon instead.Supplies Used:

Hand Made Cards

Christmas Continues

Christmas Day is over but I’m not done enjoying the Christmas Season.  I plan to enjoy a few more days of calm before I kick back into stamping.  Next week the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration will begin but for now I want to share another Holiday Catalog stamp set from one of the million dollar achievers, Linda Bauwin.  I love this Half Full stamp set and have not used it near enough (thank goodness I believe it is carrying over for us to continue to use).

I stamped the wine bottle, glasses and greeting on Watercolor Paper with Black ink and use an Aqua Painter and Fresh Fig stamp pad to color the images in.  The Gold Foil Sheets added wonderful contrast to the Fresh Fig cardstock and Eastern Palace designer paper.
