I Am Thankful For You

Now that November is here, I see a lot of people posting things they are thankful for.  This is such a great thing to do, life gets so busy and we truly don’t stop to say thanks for everything in our lives.  I don’t mean a fleeting  thought but to stop and really think about all the good things that happen to us and the good people that we come in contact with each and every day.  Today’s card says I Am Thankful for You!!!  I truly am thankful.  I have met so many wonderful people since I started my Stampin’ Up! business 13 1/2 years ago.  I am blessed  to know each and every one of you.

On to today’s card.  This card was a swap card made by Margie.  This card says fall to me.  The Early Espresso card base is accented with a layers of Crushed Curry that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Next another layer of Early Espresso and the flowers stamped on Very Vanilla with Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks with Early Espresso stamped centers.  The banner is stamped with Early Espresso ink.  Such a great simple card that is perfect for November.

Stampin’ Blends Are Available TODAY!!!

Halloween is over — I can legitimately work on Christmas projects and listen to Christmas music.  I know, Thanksgiving is coming first, but really, there isn’t music for Thanksgiving.  We do still keep all the beautiful fall decorations — leaves and pumpkins (not jack-o-lanterns) and all the wonderful colors — Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Early Espresso, but I am planning some fun classes for November to help us all prepare for the upcoming Christmas season.

Christmas means WISH LISTS for everyone — things we need and things we want.  I have a great product that should be top on your Wish List — Stampin’ Blends.  These are brand new — available TODAY!!!  They are alcohol based markers that blend and color so nice, no lines showing from the marker.

Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up! that shows you how to blend with these new markers and shows a great new stamp set and card kit that is available starting today.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to All!  One final Halloween card as the kids get ready to go out Trick or Treating.  Today’s card uses the Spooky Night designer paper for the orange/black circle background.  The Cat Punch was used to punch out a cat from another of the Spooky Night papers.  The witches hat was fussy cut from a third piece of designer paper.  The fun jack-o-lantern was cut from a print in the Painted Autumn designer paper using the Patterned Pumpkin Framelits.  The witches caldron from Festive Phrases stamp set is stamped with Memento ink and stamped a second time with Pumpkin Pie ink — trim around the words and attach it with Dimensionals.
