Fall Wreath Treat Bag

With fall officially here now (according to the calendar) I'm starting to think of all the little treat possibilities.  This is the new Petite Cafe Gift Bags from the Holiday Catalog.  It is the perfect size for some snack mix — there are lots of different recipes on Pinterest — just heard about one called Caramel Apple Puppy Chow Mix — yum!!!

Fall Treat BagFor this card I stamped the Hardwood background stamp with Crumb Cake Ink on the bag.  I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp with Hello Honey, Tangello Twist and Early Espresso inks.  For a little bit of texture I used small pieces of the Burlap ribbon along with Hello Honey and Tangello Twist ribbons to make little banners.

How would you like to find this sitting on your desk with little treats in it.

Wreath on the Door

The Wondrous Wreath stamp set from the Holiday Catalog is wonderful.  It is such a beautiful image yet it is so easy to do.  Your family and friends will be very impressed to know that you made this card just for them.

Christmas DoorI just sponged the edges of Very Vanilla rectangles and adhered them to the "door" front.

Window Sheet Flower

This technique is lots of fun.  It's almost like Shrinky Dinks — do you remember those.

Window SheetI stamped the flower image from the Flower Shop stano set onto a piece of Stampin' Up! Window Sheet using Stazon ink.  Turn the stamped piece over and color the flowers with the Blendability markers.  Punch out with the coordinating Pansy Punch.  Hold the flower with a pair of tweezers and using the Heat Gun apply hot air to the plastic (be careful not to burn yourself).  You can see the plastic start to thicken and curl, move around the flower until all the petals are done.

I used a Candy Dot Base Brad and colored it with the Daffodil Delight Blendability.  Adhere the flower to card front with glue dot.  Then I punched a hold in the center of the flower, insert the brad and attach the piece to the front of your card.

The ladies thought this would be fun with a fish stamp — you could color it with the Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana Blendabilities.  So many ideas to play with — give it a try.
