I love May scrapbook pages — flowers, Mother's Day, soft – pretty colors!!!
I used the Succulent Gardens designer paper to get me started — I am going to miss this paper.

Don't you just love those pretty colors.
I used Grateful Bunch stamp set with Pool Party ink to stamp some leaves scattered around the edges of the page and then stamped flowers with Sweet Sugarplum on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the coordinating Blossom Builder Punch to add some dimensional flowers.

I added Rhinestones to the center of the two smaller flowers and the new Clear Faceted Gems to the larger flowers (this are in the new catalog which you can start ordering on June 1st — you are going to love these!!!)

Nailed It for Father’s Day

I know Mother's Day is coming up this weekend but today I wanted to share a great Father's Day idea.  The Nailed It stamp set has limited time left — it's retiring at the end of this month so you need to get it ordered right away.  Unfortunately the coordinating framelits are already sold out but the images are easy to "fussy" cut with your Paper Snips.

Isn't this just adorable for that handy man Dad or Grandpa.
Or for that matter, change the colors and Moms and Grandmas would love it to.
Just add that special picture and you are ready to go.

Project Tips:
* Base — Thick Whisper White – 8" x 8"
stamp random tools with Black ink
add splotches from Gorgeous Grunge (so sad this is retiring too)
* Urban Underground designer paper — 4" x 4" or using Black cardstock
this is your picture mat
* Basic Grey — stamp saw with Black ink — cut out
* Black — 2" x 2"
* Delightful Dijon — 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"

Special Reason

Pretty May flowers are the highlight of today's card using the Special Reason stamp set.
I like the soft feel of these flowers especially the Sweet Sugarplum and Crumb Cake.
Special Reason
Card Tips:
* Crumb Cake — 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
* Early Espresso — 2 7/8" x 5 1/2"
* Very Vanilla — 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"
stamp flowers randomly with Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Sweet Sugarplum inks
* Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon — Sweet Sugarplum – 2 pieces 4" long each
wrap one piece across front, attach to back
tuck second piece under first and tie in a knot (cheater bow)
* Very Vanilla — stamp greeting with Early Espresso ink — cut out with Stylish Stems framelit
* Early Espresso — cut out with Stylish Stem framelit

Imagine all the color combinations you could use for this card — so pretty.
