Avant Garden Swing Card

The Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Avant Garden,
has quickly become on of my favorite stamp sets.
The flower is quite sweet and simple.

I paired it with the Carried Away designer paper,
also a Sale-a-Bration choice for a soft
Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo look.

I love the layout of this card — thank you Susie Wood
for the inspiration.

Beautiful You

Have you played with the Beautiful You stamp set yet??
I love it!!
It is so versatile.
You can keep it simple with just a bit of color,
you can color with lots of detail or
like this card, you can go a bit crazy.

I used the Sending Love designer paper to
create paper doll clothes — I stamped the lady
first on the Whisper White square with Memento ink
and then I stamped it again on the designer paper,
cut out only the dress and adhered it over
the white stamped image.
It gives such dimension to the stamped image.
Then I colored her hat with Real Red marker
and added a pearl or rhinestone to her hat.
Oh, so elegant

Real Red — 4″ x 5 1/4″ — emboss with Falling Petals embossing folder
Black — cut out with Layering Squares framelits

You’re Sweet

Cool Treats is a fun new stamp set.
It has coordinating designer paper and Washi Tape
called Tasty Treats.  The colors remind me of sherbet.
Growing up occasionally on Friday night we "got to go" to
a local supper club for a fish fry.  We always got to have sherbet
for dessert.  I loved those Friday nights.
