Birthday Blast

When a new catalog comes out there are stamp sets that just grab my attention and I know that I have to have it, especially if there is a coordinating framelit set.  Well the Birthday Blast Bundle did exactly that — grabbed my attention, I had to have it and then the poor thing sat on my shelf.  I FINALLY used it this weekend to make some special cards for team member accomplishments — I can't share that card with you yet as I just put them in the mail so that card will have to wait a few days BUT here is a fabulous card we did at a demo event my sister, Tina, and I held right after the catalog came out.

Whisper White — 4" x 5 1/4"
Pink Pirouette — 3 3/4" x 5"
stamp the "blast" with Pink Pirouette ink
Whisper White — 2" x 3 3/4"
stamp "Happy Birthday" with Smoky Slate ink
Silver Foil Sheet — 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"
cut out "blast" with framelits
(keep the stars and add as embellishments)

*Using Any Occasion stamp set — stamp banner line with Sahara Sand ink
stamp "Hello" with Sweet Sugarplum ink
stamp banner stamps with Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz ink
*attach Sending Love embellishment with Glue Dot — place a Rhinestone in center of flower
*Tie little bows with Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine and attach with Glue Dots
*I added 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes in the upper right hand corner.

Bye, Bye 2015-2017 In Colors

It's hard to believe that it's almost time to say good-bye to the 2015-2017 In Colors.

I have used some of these colors a lot — Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon — love these three colors.
Cucumber Crush worked great for Christmas projects and Mint Macaron paired so well with this year's Sweet Sugarplum — I grew to like these colors and have used Mint Macaron quite a bit.
The Retired List will be release on April 10th
and these items will be hot on the list — they usually sell out right away.
Don't wait until April 10th — get those refill inks ordered right away before they are sold out.

It is the highlight of this card.
