Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek

Today I wanted to share a little sneak peek product from the Occasions Catalog coming out on January 4th.  Stampin' Up! has released a video introducing the Window Box Thinlit.
This product is truly beautiful.

If you are having trouble watching the video through email post,

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #8 Winner — Gail D — you pack a lot of stuff into those two days.
We started our Christmas this past weekend at my parents' home.
My sister and both brothers were there along with their kids.
Both of my kids and their families were there.
We were missing one of my nieces and her family.

We work our own Christmas with our children and grand children around
everyone else.  This year my son and family are coming to our house (woot woot).
My daughter and family are much closer but they are staying over night Friday too.
We'll get up Christmas Eve morning and have our Christmas — presents, fabulous New York Strip Roast dinner and then we'll all go to church together.  I am truly looking forward to it.

I almost forgot Day #9
Does Santa still visit the grown ups in your house??

Some say Santa is just for kids.
Sara Douglass — Stampin' Up!'s CEO just explained the
Spirit of Santa to her youngest daughter and I thought
she did a GREAT job of explaining it.
We are all Santa's helpers in many ways but
especially when we think of others.
YES, Santa comes to the grown ups in my house — EVERY YEAR!!!

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #7 Winner — Roseann — CONGRATS!!!
I loved all your stories about what kind of tree you put up and why.
Christmas trees definitely bring up memories.
I'm not allowed to put ours up — I just hurry to get it up.
My husband does our tree and reminisces about each ornament,
when we got it, from you or why we bought it.
Many of our ornaments are handmade — some ceramic ones I painted many years ago in classed with my mom.  Quite a few my husband carved from wood — they are beautiful.
Of course we have ones with our kids pictures on them too.

Day #8 question is below today's project.

As I am wrapping presents like Santa's elves I came across this
cute box we made a few months back.

This Christmas Box
The box is made from Very Vanilla cardstock.
We added This Christmas designer paper to the front,
wrap some Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim and tie a bow.
Layering Ovals — scallop of Cherry Cobbler and a
Very Vanilla oval.
The tree is cut from This Christmas designer paper
using the Perfect Pines framelit.

Pretty quick and an adorable box to hide a fun little gift in.

Day #8
How do you celebrate Christmas Eve/Christmas Day?
Do you travel around?

Day #6 Winner — Julie
Julie — send me an email with your address so I can mail your prize
[email protected]
Next question is at end of this post.

Today's project was the gift that I received at my Team Christmas Party.
Tammy made my gift and it is adorable.
Tammy's Gift Exchange
Look at this adorable bottle tag.
It fits on a wine bottle, any "booze" bottle or even soda or juices.
Tammy made 2 of this tag and 2 each of 2 other designs.
Tammy's Gift Exchange 2
Aren't these all just the cutest.
I love her attention to detail.
I need to go get some bottles of wine to give as gifts so I can use these adorable tags.

Day #7 — Twelve Days of Christmas
Do you put up a Christmas tree?
If yes — a real one or an artificial one??
We started out with a real tree for many years.
We took the kids out to the tree farm to help pick out the tree.
One year a long time ago — when we took the tree out after Christmas it dropped needles all over the floor.  I vacuumed them up and broke our vacuum — it was jammed with needles.  Then as we picked up the stand there was water all over our brand new carpet — the stand had a leak that we didn't know about AND there was sap all over the floor.
That was our last year of a real tree.  We bought an artificial tree the following Christmas.

Don't forget to leave a comment to get your name in the drawing for a prize.
There are only 5 days left to WIN!!!
