Super Duper Candle Border Punch

Today's card is the Super Duper Candle Border Punch card.
Wow, that's a mouth full but it is definitely descriptive.
The stamp set used is the Super Duper stamp set — love this one.
I paired it with the new Candle Border Punch which added
a fun peekaboo of orange candles at the bottom of the
Whisper White layer.

Card Base — 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" — scored at 4 1/4"
Basic Black — 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White — 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
I used my Simply Scoring Tool to add two score lines at 1 1/2" and 2"
(this gave my card a little more texture)
Punch the candle border across the bottom of the Whisper White piece.
Attach a 1 1/2" x 5 1/8" piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock.
Stamp the greeting with Tangerine Tango ink.
I added some fun little "sparkles" with Bermuda Bay ink.
Attach a piece of 1/8" Stitched Bermuda Bay ribbon .
Tie a bow with another piece of ribbon and attach with a Glue Dot.

Imagine all the fun color combos you could use for this card!!!

Reverse Words — New Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set

WOOHOO — brand new Sale-a-Bration items begin TODAY!!!
I love when new product is released – and today Stampin' Up! released three new items.
I was able to order them a couple weeks ago so I could make some samples to share with you.  This card used the new Reverse Words stamp set.
At first glance I wasn't sure about this set but then I saw a few ideas on Pinterest and viola, here's my card.

I started with a Thick Whisper White base,
added a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic Black layer,
then a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" Whisper White layer.
I added some of the Tasty Treats Washi Tape on the left side.
I stamped the "Hooray" from the Reverse Words stamp set with Peekaboo Peach ink.
THEN I used stamps from Perfectly Wrapped with Memento ink to add "A Big" and "For You" along with a few scattered bursts.

It is a very simple but fun card and is great in any color scheme.
You could add a strip of designer paper in place of the washi tape.
