Lift Me Up

Wow, what an amazing weekend!!
The weather was fabulous — mid 60's both days.  Yesterday was my Winter Warm Up Stamp Camp and I think it worked this year — it was definitely a Winter Warm Up.
I know winter isn't over yet and we will have plenty of cold coming yet but we
definitely took advantage of a couple of warm days.

Here's one of the cards we made yesterday.  It used the Lift Me Up Bundle —
which is the Lift Me Up stamp set and coordinating Up & Away framelits.
The card is sweet and simple.

The card base is Smoky Slate with layers of Night of Navy, Whisper White and
Carried Away designed paper along with some fun dazzling clouds.
The clouds were cut from the Dazzling Diamonds sheets.

Birthday Blast

Are you ready for a little fun?
Today's card will give you that.
I love Silver Foil "blast" which is made with the Star Blast Edgetlit Die.  So much fun!!
The stamp set used is Birthday Blast — there are so many fun images in this stamp set.

The card base is Smoky Slate with a Whisper White layer added.  Then Blushing Bride — stamp the big star blast with Blushing Bride ink — add Whisper White at the bottom — Stamp Happy Birthday with Smoky Slate ink — add the Silver Foil blast and you are done.

I love the adorable simplicity of this card.

February Scrapbook — Love is in the Air

I love giving scrapbooks as gifts — especially for new babies.  It makes the momma’s life so much easier.  I have pages for each month of the year.  The baby doesn’t have to coordinate with the color scheme of the pages — momma just takes pictures of her baby (which of course we all do anyway), print out a few favorites and slap them on the page for that month.  It is pretty quick and easy and a GREAT way to keep those memories.  Baby will be able to look at his/her book for many, many years to come.

Here is the first page for my February layout.

The base of my pages is Blushing Bride with Rose Red accents.
I added 3″ strips of the Falling in Love designer paper.
Rose Red and Very Vanilla for the picture mats.
Add a few stamped hearts from the Sealed with Love stamp set.
One final touch — I cut out a Rose Red heart using the Love Notes framelits
and of course don’t forget the Black cupid arrow.
