Fall Fest – Project 5

Today I have project 5 from Fall Fest — this is the last class we did for the day.  It features the Paisleys & Posies stamp set and coordinating Paisleys Thinlits.  For this class we did a "One Sheet Wonder" class.  What is a "One Sheet Wonder" you ask?  You create your own sheet of designer paper and cut it into many pieces to create 6 different cards — well 6 cards is what I created.  I had some help from fellow demonstrator Kelly Acheson — I love her grouping of cards so I changed mine up a bit — used an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Very Vanilla.
We filled the cardstock with lots of Paisleys and Posies in all different colors.
One Sheet Wonder
It's so pretty just like this — you could add some Touches of Textures to fill in more of the open spaces.  Once you are happy with your designer paper you will cut it according to the diagram.

Be sure you label the back of each piece with the card number.  It makes it so much easier when assembling your card.
Here is each card:

Card 2

Card 3

Card 4

Card 5

Card 6
Isn't that awesome!!!

Now change the colors and do it again — you'll get a completely different look.  I can't wait to try it with reds and greens and then add Christmas greetings.  There are a couple of my favorite Christmas greeting stamp sets on sale starting Tuesday.  These are "must haves" so be sure to come back on November 1st to check it out.

Fall Fest – Project 4

Before I share project 4 from Fall Fest I have to show you our lunch table settings — so adorable.
Lunch Table Setting
We used red tablecloths and laid a string of white lights down the center of the tables and added white dinner plates.  I love the silverware holder.  We used the Mini Treat Bag framelit and added another ornament to the front — tucked red napkins inside with white silver.  We added a cute tag to the water bottle.  The final touch — the dessert.  I had one of my ladies make cupcakes with Santa hat frosting — so cute.

Ok, now on to Project 4 — an adorable box filled with 6 Christmas card and 6 gift tags.
Gift Box Front
The lid lifts up to show the tags inside another little box.

Then on to the six cards

Fall Fest – Project 3

Today I’m sharing Project 3 from Fall Fest.  It is a grouping of four different treat holders.  I love to give out treats and it’s more fun to gift those treats when they look pretty.
Treat Group
The first treat holder they made holds a Kit Kat bar or maybe even one of the big Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (right Tammy).
Kit Kat Holder
It’s just a fun little crisscross box decorated with the pretty Presents & Pinecones designer paper.  The stamp set we used for the whole group is a Hostess Exclusive stamp set — Holly Jolly Layers — everyone received this stamp set and the 3/8″ Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack as a fun “come on down” gift.
Gingerbread Sucker
I just love this sucker holder — made using the Envelope Punch Board.  Don’t you love these swirl suckers — I ordered them from Amazon.  So cute!!
Gum Holder
I love this treat holder — there’s a Bubalicious Gum package tucked inside.  Great to tuck into a stocking hanging on the fireplace, right.
Hot Cocoa Box
This cute little box has surprised everyone I show it to.  It is adorable just looking at it.
Hot Cocoa Box Top
There is a Keurig Hot Cocoa pod tucked into the top — and you can’t see the secret that is tucked into the box — a mini bag of marshmallows for your hot cocoa.  LOVE THIS ONE!!!

Tomorrow I’ll share our beautiful holiday table for lunch — so pretty.
