Santa Ho Ho Ho

I know Fall just “officially” started but I am working on and planning for Christmas card classes and events.  When you are hand making things you have to start early to be sure you have enough time.
Today’s card was inspired by Erica Cerwin.

Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. 
They are both MUST HAVES!!!
My color combo this time is Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Santa Ho Ho Ho

Card Directions
1.  Case Base — Real Red — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
2.  Crumb Cake — 4″ x 5 1/4″
stamp “ho ho ho” from Greetings from Santa with Black ink
3.  Candy Cane Lane designer paper — 2″ x 5 1/4″
I love the look of this diagonal stripe paper
4.  Whisper White — cut out with Layering Circles framelits
5.  Real Red — cut out with Layering Circles framelits
I love these framelits.
6.  Whisper White scrap — stamp Santa and hat pom pom with Black ink
color Santa with Real Red and Black Markers
color face with Blender Pen and Blushing Bride ink
7.  Punch out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch
8.  Wrap White Baker’s Twine — tie knot — add Jingle Bell
Oh, don’t forget to add Gold Wink of Stella for the belt buckle and
Clear Wink of Stella on all the fur.

Fall Give Thanks

I love the openness of this card.
My sister, Tina, designed a card like this for a demo event we held earlier this month.  I liked the design, the Petals & Paisleys designer paper and the foil paper so I changed out the stamp set (I used Suite Seasons) and colors to fit a fall theme.  I think this card would be perfect for sending Thanksgiving wishes but would also be great for an every day THANK YOU!

Card Directions:
1.  Card Base — Cajun Craze — 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" — score at 4 1/4"
second piece of Cajun Craze – 1 1/4" x 5 1/2"
2.  Very Vanilla (card inside) — 4" x 5 1/4"
stamp greeting from Suite Seasons with Cajun Craze ink
3.  Petals & Paisleys designer paper — 1" x 5 1/4" (2 pieces
4.  Cajun Craze — 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"
5.  Very Vanilla — 2" x 2 1/2"
6.  Copper Foil Sheet — cut out using the Cheerful Tags Thinlits
7.  Tie bow from Very Vanilla ribbon — attach with Glue Dot
8. Lay 1 1/4" strip of Cajun Craze that has designer paper attached
at the bottom of the card — line up edges and attach Cajun Craze layers with dimensionals (be careful to keep dimensionals on the 1 1/4" strips only or your card won't open)

Trick or Treat!!

I love the colors of Halloween — Black, Grey and Orange (or better yet Pumpkin Pie).  Today’s card covers all that with a little cute and a little scary.
The main focus is the fabulous Halloween Night designer paper.
Then I pulled the Spooky Fun stamp set and a bit of Halloween Night Baker’s Twine and a couple of the fun Halloween Night Enamel Dots and viola — your card is finished.
Trick or Treat
Card Directions:
1.  Card Base — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
2.  Basic Grey – 4″ x 5 1/4″
stamp spider web all over with Basic Grey ink stamped off
3.  Halloween Nights designer paper
a.  Black Dots – 1 1/2″ x 4″
b.  Orange Diagonal Stripe – 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″
c. Orange checked – 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″
All three designer papers are punched with the Triple Banner Punch
4. Basic Black scraps — use Layering Circles Framelits
5.  Pumpkin Pie scraps — use Layering Circles Framelits
6. Whisper White scraps — use Layering Circles Framelits
7.  Wrap Baker’s Twine around Basic Grey piece twice, knot and tie in a bow
8.  Add two Halloween Night Enamel Dots
