Happy Birthday!!!

We all need birthday cards, right?
Today's card is perfect, it's quick and easy.
It features the Party Wishes bundle
which is the Party Wishes stamp set and the
Party Punch Pack punches — cupcake, balloon & candle.
It also uses the It's My Party designer paper. Happy Birthday logoThe card base is Melon Mambo with layers of Basic Black
and then It's My Party.
I stamped "Happy Birthday" with Melon Mambo ink.
The cupcakes are stamped with Mint Macaron ink and
punched out with the cupcake punch.
I stamped the balloons — one with Crushed Curry
and two with Melon Mambo and punched out with the
balloon punch.

Sending Smiles

Today I’m sending smiles out to Kim,
for a day that is going great!!!!
The sending smiles greeting comes from the
Greatest Greetings stamp set.
I just love the font for this set.
Flowering Fields logo
The base of the card is Watermelon Wonder with a layer
of Tip Top Taupe that was attached with dimensionals.
I stamped the “Sending Smiles” greeting with
Memento ink.  Next I stamped the flower image
from Flowering Fields stamp set.  This is a
Sale-a-Bration item and you only have 7 days
left to get this adorable set FREE.
Don’t forget to stamp the butterfly.
Then I used my Blender Pen with the following
stamp pads to color the images:
Pear Pizzazz
Watermelon Wonder
Blushing Bride
So Saffron

Of course I had to add a bit of Clear Wink of Stella.
Then I stamped the windowsill from Happy Home stamp set
with Tip Top Taupe ink on Tip Top Taupe cardstock.
Then I used the coordinating Hearth & Home Thinlits
to cut the windowsill out.  You can order the
stamp set and thinlits together in a bundle and
save 15%.  I attached the windowsill with dimensionals.

Does this card make you ready for spring?
It sure does for me.

Pinwheel Spinner

Have you ever made a spinner card?
It has been such a long time since I did one I kind of forgot
how cool they are and so simple to do.
Now I say simple, however the creator of today's
spinner card, Cheri, made 52 of these.
That's not that simple — a bit time consuming but
I think well worth it since she won THIRD place
in our Stampin' Sisters Retreat card contest.
She received a wonderful prize for her efforts.
Cheri logo
To create the spinner — first she used the Word Window Punch to
make the open in the Whisper White card layer.
She used a square of Birthday Bouquet designer paper to
create the pinwheel.
Then she used two pennies — that's right, coins.
You stack two dimensionals on a penny and then add another
penny on top (one penny on each side of the opening).
Then she added the pinwheel with another dimensional.
Then when you tilt the card back and forth the pinwheel spins.
The kids really like but so do the big kids.

I would love for you to post a copy of a spinner card you make
in the comments.  Let's see all the different designs.
