Awesomely Artistic Lots of Labels

I took tons of pictures at On Stage last week.
One of my favorite stamp sets in the current Annual Catalog
is Awesomely Artistic.
You can create such beautiful cards.
Just out this one I saw on the display boards.
Awesomely Artistic logo
I love how soft this card looks.
The card base is So Saffron with a layer of
Crumb Cake that have been stamped with the
small splotches stamp from the set and Crumb Cake ink.

Next they cut out two layer of the Lots of Labels framelits.
One in Basic Black and one in Whisper White.

The pretty flowers are stamped in the corner of the
Whisper White label with Memento ink — they also
stamped Friend with the Memento ink.

A butterfly from Papillon Potpourri stamp set
was stamped with Memento ink and colored in
with the Calypso Coral marker.
A little bling was added on the butterfly.

This card is great for many occasions,
just to tell someone you are thinking about them.

In the Meadow Fun Fold

Do you struggle designing cards for the men in your life!
I sure do — sometimes just a bit of nature will do the trick.
Today’s card was the second choice from my Fun Folds Class.
This card features the In the Meadow stamp set
and the Botanical Gardens designer paper.

In the Meadow
I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″
Scored are 1 3/4″, 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″, 6 1/2

I added strips of the Botanical Gardens designer paper.
1.  green pieces are 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
2.  black piece is 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″

Layers are:
Black — 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Mossy Meadow — 4″ x 4″
Black — 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Smoky Slate — 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

I used Timeless Textures stamp set with
Mossy Meadow ink to stamp around the four sides
of the Mossy Meadow square.

I stamped the deer with Memento Black ink.
Then I used another stamp from Timeless Textures
with Smoky Slate ink to stamp over the deer
on the Smoky Slate carstock (I wanted to add a bit of texture).

I attached the 4 1/4″ square to the card front with dimensionals.
I also used dimensionals to attach the 2 3/4″ black square.

I added a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
to the back of the card to stamp and write your message.
In the Meadow Inside
I had two different greetings from Sunburst Sayings stamp set
for everyone to choose the greeting they wanted inside their card.
They could stamp Happy Birthday to You or You Brighten My Day.

I think this card works for a masculine birthday, thank you
or even Father’s Day.

Diorama Card

Have I told you how much I LOVE stamping with friends??
Last night was my Fun Folds Class.
We haven’t done one of these in a long time,
so it was a pretty big class.
I thought it might be a little stressful,
but it wasn’t at all.
I LOVE spending time with all of my
stamping friends.
You help refresh my soul and give
me new spirit to strive on.
I truly hope that I do a little of the same for you.

Another thing I love is FUN FOLD cards.
Any kind of different fold is awesome.
Here is one of the cards we did last night.
Diorama Card
I started with Lost Lagoon cardstock (I’m going to miss this color).
I cut two pieces — 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
They are scored at 1/2″, 1″ on both sides of each piece.
I cut an open in the center of one piece to see the stamped image.

I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock (3 1/4″ x 4″)
to stamp and insert inside the diorama.
It is stamped with the Happy Home stamp set
(yup this one is gone soon too).
I used an Aqua Painter to pick up Pear Pizzazz
ink for the grass and Pool Party for the sky.
I used Real Red, Night of Navy and Soft Sky
markers to color in the boy and kite.
Glue this to the Lost Lagoon cardstock
that doesn’t have an opening in it.

Next I used the Heart & Home framelit with
Whisper White cardstock to create the window.
Yay, this framelit is staying with us.
I attached it with Fine Tip Glue.

Last, use a strong adhesive (I used Fast Fuse).
Apply the adhesive to the 1/2″ edges and
attach the two pieces together.

Don’t you love how this stands on a shelf!!
