Memories in the Making Birthday

I love when stamp sets have a double use.
Today’s featured stamp set is Memories in the Making.
This is a Project Life stamp set so it works great for memory
keeping but also is a fabulous set for making cards.
This was another card the ladies got to make at our
Winter Warm Up last Saturday.
Memories in the MakingThe card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of
Whisper White attached with dimensionals.
The swirl stamp is stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.
Happy Birthday is stamped with Memento ink in the center of
the swirl.  Then stamp a few flowers scattered around
with Watermelon Wonder and So Saffron ink.

This is definitely a quick and cute card.
Great to make up a few to have on hand.

Botanical Thanks

Botanical Builder Framelits
are a blast to “play” with.
There are so many fun framelits in this set.
Today’s card was part of the Winter Warm Up
stamping day that I held with team members last
Saturday.  Roseann made this card and I just love the
cut out edges on it.
Roseann BotanicalWe started with a Basic Black card base —  4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 5 1/2″.
Then we used the leaf framelit lined up along the edge and cut out.
This is repeated on both edges of the card.
Use the Softly Falling embossing folder on the front of the card.
We used Real Red cardstock to cut out flowers for the card front.
I love the flower with the cut section on the petals — you can pop
it out a little for a dimensional look.
We used the Endless Thanks stamp set with Memento ink
on a 1″ strip of Whisper White cardstock, use the Triple Banner
Punch to create the banner edge.
We used the White Perfect Accents for the center of
the flowers.

Beautiful Blessing

Rose Wonder stamp set from the Occasions Catalog
is such a beautiful stamp set to play with.
There are so many creative ways to use it.
This was one of the cards my customers made Saturday
at our Winter Warm Up.
This card was designed by my daughter Katie.
Rose WonderThe card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of Basic Black and then
a layer of Whisper White.  We used the Vellum cardstock and stamped
the image with VersaMark ink and Black embossing powder.
Then place the vellum face down and use sponge daubers to
color the flower with So Saffron and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.
The greeting is stamped with VersaMark too and embossed
with Black embossing powder.
We attached the vellum with glue dots and pull pearls over
the glue dots.
