Easter/Spring Framed Art

I love doing framed art for all the different holidays
and seasons.  Wednesday night I held my
Easter/Spring Framed Art class.
Here's what we made:
Easter Frame logo
I was very pleased with how it turned out.
We used this same layout for a Valentine Framed Art piece.
I liked the layout so much I decided it was perfect for this one.
The base is 12" x 12" Watermelon Wonder.
I added an 8 1/2" x 11" layer of Pool Party,
8" x 10 1/2" Whisper White layer and then a
7 3/4" x 10 1/4" layer of Blushing Bride .
I used many stamp sets:
Friends & Flowers for the Easter Bunny
And Many More for the Hippity Hoppity
Pedal Pusher for the bike and accessories
Enjoy the Little Things & In the Meadow for the flower panel
First Sight for the baroque background for the butterfly
Botanical Blooms & Suite Sayings for the Wishing you panel
Easter Lamb for the lamb circle

This was such a fun piece to make and the
ladies in class loved their finished project.

Happy St. Patty’s Day!!!

Today’s post is perfect for the day.
Last week was my Scrap & Go Club.
Each month we make two 12″ x 12″ scrapbook pages.
Since it is March I thought a little green for
St. Patrick’s Day was in order.
March 1 logo
The pages are Cucumber Crush with Black and Whisper White accents.
I used the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set from the
Occasions Catalog and Pictogram Punches stamp set from
the Annual Catalog.
The striped strip is the 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper.
The bottom strip is from the 2015-2017 In Color designer
paper stack.  In between these two strips I used the
2015-2017 In Color Washi Tape which is a
Hostess exclusive item in the Occasions Catalog.
March 2 logo
I stamped “lucky” from the Project Life Remember This stamp set in the three
open spots and scattered a few shamrocks.

I can’t wait to add some pictures to these pages.
How about you — are you printing out pictures of all the
fun things that happen in your life.
You never know when your phone or computer
will crash and you could lose all those great memories.
Print them off and put them in albums for everyone
to see and enjoy.

Timeless Textures

Timeless Textures stamp set is a MUST have set.
I’m not much of a grunge girl or shabby chic,
but this set is beautiful.
I received this card in a swap.
I just love the simple elegance of it.
Timeless Textures
It is a monochromatic color scheme — Basic Black, Basic Grey and Whisper White.
She used most of the images in the stamp set to stamp randomly
on the Whisper White cardstsock.
She stamped the “it’s in the air” from Bloomin’ Love stamp set
on Smoky Slate cardstock and punched it out with the
Washi Label Punch.  Then added a heart punched from Black cardstock.
I think I would add just a bit of the Clear Wink of Stella here and there.
It would give just a touch of sparkle.

Don’t forget to check out this week’s WEEKLY DEALS.
The Festive Flower Builder Punch is a must
have to create an adorable bunny using the
Friends & Flowers stamp set.  Wait until you
see my project in the next couple of days.
