Bloomin’ Love Flower Style

The Bloomin' Love stamp set is such a great
Valentine's Day stamp set but I told my stampers
to think outside the box.  No frills, no pink, we
would do something completely different with this set.
It works great for birthdays or just to say HI to a friend.
Today's card does just that — send it to a friend
to just say HI, I'm thinking of you.
Friends FlowersThe card base if Basic Black with a layer of Real Red.
Next I used the It's My Party designer paper stack.
If you haven't ordered this yet, YOU HAVE TO.
It is the best designer paper Stampin' Up! has
ever offered.  I love it.  There is so much paper
to work with and so many different designs.
It's NOT just for birthday.
I stamped the flower images from Bloomin' Love
using Memento and Real Red inks.
I just stamped randomly on the Whisper White card stock.
I punched Basic Black card stock using the
Washi Label Punch, stamped "FRIEND" with
VersaMark ink and White embossing powder.
I used the Bloomin' Heart flower framelit to cut
out a Real Red flower, attached to card front with
a Glue Dot and added a White Perfect Accent.
I added Whisper White card stock to the inside
of the card and stamped three red flowers
in the lower left corner.

My Valentine

I love soft, subtle and girly.
This card is exactly that.
The Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate color combo
give this card that soft, subtle feel.
The Elegant Dots embossing folder and
Doily give it that lacy, girly look.
This card just might be my daughter’s
Valentine card — I think it is perfect for her.
My Valentine LacyThis card was pretty quick to make.
I already gave you the card stock colors and embossing folder.
I added a strip of Perfectly Artistic Designer Paper
that I punched with the Triple Banner Punch.
You can choose the designer paper FREE from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog
when you place a $50 order.
I stamped “My Valentine” from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set.
Punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch.  Attached it to a
2 3/8″ Scallop Circle of Smoky Slate.
Tied a bow from the 1/2″ Pink Pirouette Seam Binding and
attached with Glue Dots.

Love You

I like a stamp set that has versatility, don’t you?
At first glance, the Bloomin’ Love stamp set seems
perfect for Valentine’s Day, which it is, but there are so
many other possibilities with this.
I have a tough time with anniversary cards — this set
is perfect.  Today’s card works great for
Valentine’s Day but is also great for anniversaries
or even weddings.
I love the Real Red and Basic Black combo — it is
so striking.

Love YouThe card base is Real Red with a layer Basic Black.
I put the Whisper White card stock through the
Softly Falling embossing folder.
I used the Bloomin’ Heart framelit with Real Red
card stock to cut out the heart.  I just had to use
my favorite new product on the heart —
Wink of Stella — Clear.  I love the sparkle
it adds and it is just right for this card.
The black flowers were cut using the flower dies
in the Bloomin’ Heart framelit set — they add just
the right touch.  Stamp the banner and words
with Memento ink and cut out using the
framelit piece from Large Numbers Framelits.
This is another item that is a MUST HAVE!!!
And last but not least add some Rhinestones.
