Give Thanks Scrapbook Pages

Last night was my Scrap & Go Club.
We did pages for November — Thanksgiving — being grateful for those in our lives.
I think these pages work great for this — I’m ready to pop family pictures right on to the mats, right a few quick notes about the traditions that our family have so we can remember and enjoy those memories for many years to come.November 2015 page 1The base of the page is Pumpkin Pie.  I added an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of
Early Espresso card stock.  The Cajun Craze mats are 4″ x 6″.
The Old Olive mats are 3″ x 3″.  I used the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set and markers — Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon.

Here is page 2.
The says in the center is from Lighthearted Leaves and stamped with
Early Espresso ink.

Be sure that you take lots of pictures with your family and friends this
Thanksgiving AND print those pictures out to share with everyone.
Pictures on your phone or computer won’t last forever.

Halloween Scrapbook Pages

As I was preparing for my Scrap & Go Club tonight I realized I haven’t
posted scrapbook pages in a while.
I’ll start with October since that just ended.
Of course we focused on Halloween for the pages.
October 2015 page 1This is page one — we’re all set to add pictures of those little ghost and goblins.

October 2015 page 2
Here is page 2 — a fun owl trick or treating with his pumpkin bucket
and the Black Glitter BOO.
So much fun — now to add those pictures so everyone can enjoy.

Silent Night and Flying Santa

I love the simplicity of this card.
The glistening snow, city in the hills, dark of night and Santa and his sleigh flying through the air.
Silent Night SantaThe base of the card is Basic Grey with a layer of Smoky Slate.
The took a scrap of card stock and punched a 1″ hole in it to create a mask
I laid the mask over the Smoky Slate card stock — with a sponge dauber I rub Delightful Dijon ink in the opening, creating the moon.
With Memento ink I stamped Santa and the sleigh from the Cozy Christmas stamp set.  I used Shimmery White card stock with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits to cut out the hillside with trees and another piece for the hillside with the houses.  I took the negative card stock from the trees and adhered to the inside of the card — it leaves a nice white spot to write a little message and a pretty decoration for the inside of the card.  I stamped “Silent Night” from the Jingle All the Way stamp set with Smoky Slate ink.
