Fall Fest Swaps – Part 1

I just realized that I never shared the Fall Fest Swap Cards.
I think everyone did a great job and I was so pleased that most did participate.

Kelly Swap CardThis was Kelly Mason's card.
I love all the details and texture.
Jenny Swap Card
This was my daughter-in-law, Jenny's card (she had a little assistance from my daughter, Katie in designing this one).
This card fits right into my theme for November — let's be thankful or grateful for everyone in our lives.  Send them a card to say I appreciate you.
Wendy Swap Card
Wendy Tikk's card also fits that fall thankful theme.
She added one of the Spider Web Doilies for a little added fun.
Jose Swap Card
Even Jose Proa participated in the swap — our only male stamper.
I think he did a great job adding lots of detail and plenty of color.
Way to go Jose.

Come back tomorrow — I'll share some more of the swap cards.

Santa’s Gift

Santa’s Gift is a Christmas stamp set in the Annual Catalog.
It is just so cute — I love this reindeer.
I made a new friend at Founder’s Circle back in September, Julie Brancart.
I saw this card on Julie’s facebook and just loved everything about it.
I made a few, Peggy adjustments to it — not many because it was already fabulous.

RudolphThe card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of Old Olive, then a layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder.
A strip of Season of Cheer designer paper was attached to a strip of Old Olive card stock.  I used the Lots of Labels Framelits (this is a must have) to cut out the Real Red label.  Punch out a 2 1/2″ Whisper White circle and the “Rudolph” with Memento ink.
I used markers to color him — Real Red, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.
This is attached to the Real Red label with dimensionals.

The best part of this card is the fold.
Rudolph Open
It’s an easel card — isn’t it adorable.
“Oh, what fun” is from the Oh, What Fun stamp set — so cute…….

December Scrapbook Page

The final page to our year long scrapbook.
We covered every month — January through December.
We made pages with Olaf for January, hearts for Valentines, shades of green for March, bunnies for April, flowers for May, masculine for June, stars & stripes for July,
summer sun for August, leaves & acorns for September, ghosts & goblins for October,
wonderful fall colors and thankfulness for November.
Now we are on to the final month December and the fabulous Red & Green
Christmas colors.
December 2015
The base is Basic Black 12" x 12".
I added 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" pieces of Cucumber Crush — 2015-17 In Color.
Next were Real Red mat pieces — 3 1/2" x 5".
The Cucumber Crush In Color Designer Paper Stack squares were cut 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" and attached to Real Red 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" squares.
The center is Cucumber Crush — 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Real Red — 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Basic Black — 3" x 3" — attached with dimensionals
Whisper White  — 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" — stamp greeting from Cup of Cheer stamp set with Memento ink and color in with Real Red and Cucumber Crush markers.

It was a great year with this wonderful group of ladies.
We take a couple months off and start a new album in February.
I would love to have you join our group.
