Dropping in to Say HI

Have you seen the Into the Woods designer paper?
GORGEOUS is the only way to describe it — it is a must have for fall cards.
The wood grain layer on this card is from this designer paper.HiThe card base is Rich Razzleberry with a layer of Old Olive and then the Wood Grain designer paper.  I used Tangerine Tango and Whisper White for the banners which were punched with the Triple Banner Punch (love this tool).
Stamp the greeting with Rich Razzleberry ink.
Stamp four acorn bases with Ealry Espresso ink.
Each acorn top is stamped in a different color — Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Delightful Dijon.  Punch acorns and tops out with the coordinating
Acorn Builder punch.  Attach the banner and  acorns with dimensionals.
Tie a double bow from Linen Thread and attach with a Glue Dot

Acorny Thankful

Last night was my Acorny Thank You Stamp of the Month Class.
Everyone got the stamp set and the coordinating Acorn Builder Punch — I love this combination — so fun.
We made four cards using this great duo.
ThankfulThe base of this card is Tip Top Taupe.
I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch to punch out Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey circles.
I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out a Soft Suede circle.
I used three images from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for the background — stamping all three images with Tip Top Taupe ink.
Adhere the circles to the card front — the Mossy Meadow circle was hanging over just a bit, so I trimmed the edge even with the front.
On a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, I stamp two acorn images with Hello Honey ink.
The acorn tops are stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and Soft Suede ink — punch out with the Acorn Builder Punch.  Adhere the acorn top to the acorn base with dimensionals.  Stamp "thankful" with Mossy Meadow ink and trim around the banner with paper snips.  Adhere the acorns and the banner to the card front with dimensionals.  I added a little acorn from the Into the Woods Elements with a little piece of dimensional.

This card would be great for a "guy card" — kind of "fally" and not feminine.

The Leaves and Acorns are Falling

I went to visit my parents this weekend.
I enjoyed the drive up north and the colors of the leaves.
The further north we went the fewer the leaves.
My parents live about 3 hours north and I was amazed at how many of the trees had already lost all of their leaves.  The acorns are on the ground too.
This card is a great representation of the time of year.
AcornsThe card base is Very Vanilla.
The black and white banner is a leftover piece from the Witches Hat kit (but you could easily cut it using the Lots of Labels Framelits and designer paper.
The leaves cut out with the Leaflet Framelit and the acorn punched out with the Acorn Builder Punch from Crumb Cake card stock.  Sponge the edges of the leaves and acorn with Soft Suede ink.  The top of the acorn is stamp with the acorn top from Acorny Thank You and Soft Suede ink.  Adhere the leaves and acorn to the card front with dimensionals.  Tie a double bow with White Bakers Twine and adhere the bow with Glue Dots.

Pretty quick and you could stamp any greeting you need.
